A. Have you been on the high carb/fat/calorie diet for too long?
B. Are your fat clothes overtaking your skinny clothes collection in your closet?
C. You just can't lose that last 15lbs?
Despite living a very active lifestyle I was A, B, & C. both my wife and I were totally frustrated as neither of us could successfully lose weight.
We saw the results that a few of our friends experienced at the Ideal Weight Loss Clinic (one person is down 50lbs) and decided to take a shot. Ideal promotes the Ideal Protein diet, Google it. For me it was perfect as it targets fat and not muscle tone. For my wife it was fat and inches. Our coach is Justin Mynatt (512 589 7733) and he is both supportive and realistic. It is not an easy diet, but what is? After only 6 weeks I not only reached but exceeded my goal. My wife is about 4 weeks away. We do go out to eat and I travel regularly for business and neither of us had any setbacks.
This was one of the best things we could have done, a real life changer.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Mar 2, 2017
Changed my life. Phase 1-2 are challenging and take commitment but they totally pay off with fast safe weight loss. I lost about 5 pounds a week each week. Missy is a great and helpful coach. I HIGHLY recommend people with a lot of weight to lose(like I did) to consider Ideal Protein and Last Diet ATX.

I just signed up today and I'm going to update my review as I go along. I only need to lose 10-15 lbs, I'm 40, and I'm at 29% body fat. (The healthy range for ladies is 25-29%. My goal is closer to 25%.)
Day 0: I got a same day consultation, which was a pleasant surprise, and Amy was great. She told me how everything worked and the science behind it. She weighed and measured me and we went over everything together. She answered all of my questions and was very nice. It costs a little more than I was expecting, but it's well worth it for such a big life changer! I paid about $377 today for everything I need in week 1. Food for the following 3 weeks will cost about $100 per week.
Week 1: It has been 1 week and... I've lost 5.8 lbs and 9 inches! The diet plan is well thought out and easy to follow. I haven't been hungry at all and it's actually difficult to eat as much as I'm supposed to eat. My energy levels are ok, but I'm completely drained after doing anything active. I paid another $90 for some prepackaged food for the week. I have to say, the prepackaged food is not very good. If you're used to eating chips, sweets, and processed foods, you might like it more than I do. The chocolate protein powder is alright, the vanilla shake is horrible, the 'risotto' is also really bad. It's SO worth it though!
Week 2: I've lost 10 lbs and 14 inches! Woohoo! My body fat is staying the same, but it should start to shift this coming week. I'm pretty low on energy sometimes, but I'm not hungry at all. It's strict, but IT'S WORKING!
Week 3: Ok, I only lost 1 lb since last week, but I did lose a few more inches. I had the flu for a few days, so that really threw me off. To be honest, this has been the most difficult week, not even counting me being sick. I'm finding myself craving sweets, (more than I did before), because the packaged foods are very sweet so I'm eating three sweet treats per day. I'm also craving carbs HARD! I found out that they want me to continue with the packaged food for phase 2 and 3. I've already reached my goal, and I normally eat a very healthy diet, so I'm not sure if I'm in to that idea. We'll see. I can't stand the packaged food and this is not a healthy long-term diet. It has definitely worked for me to lose some weight fast though!
Week 4: Last week of Phase 1 is over. I've lost 13.6 lbs total and more than 15 inches. My body fat % is down and my energy levels are coming back up.
Conclusion: I'm not a dietician or a doctor, so please don't take this as professional advice. The Ideal Protein diet plan is the quickest way that I've ever experienced to lose weight without losing a lot of muscle. It works. It's difficult, you'll feel like crap, and you have to be 100% committed. But, it works.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - J J.Austin, TX9397Mar 1, 2018
I came to Ideal Protein/Last Diet ATX at the recommendation of a friend in the Fall of 2011. I was miserable, unhealthy, and unhappy, and in the words of my coach, "sick n tired of being sick n tired." I weighed 213 lbs, and honestly figured i'd never ver lose all the extra weight, but that i could probably at least shed 25-30 lbs. Cutting to the chase: I started the program on October 13, 2011, and except for a couple "holiday break," stayed with it and reached my goal-- actually 2 lbs under- on March 13, 2012. Strict? yes-- but there's no guess work. And the weight will stay off.

AMY at the Galleria has horrible customer service and is very unhelpful. I would definitely NOT recommend this place. They will take your money and after that you are on your own.... HORRIBLE customer service.... and the food they give you is awful...

Beware! They changed the way the bills are invoiced and also the medical note and because of the changes, my employer's health flextra spending account rejected all invoices. Who knows why they changed the billing. The invoices now detail the food purchased rather than consulting services. I have been waiting over a week on how my $600+ will be corrected so I can get my flextra account to pay. Be Aware that your flextra account which is mandated by federal guidelines will not pay. So so disappointed thus far. My spending account has been locked out until I personally pay the invoices and I don't have the cash. So my access to $2500 in my flextra account is locked up because of new billing process. The flextra administrator also called the office to find out if indeed there were any consulting services taking place and staff said there was no consulting only food purchases. That conversation killed all chances of getting anything reimbursed. I was told the owner, Michele would look into it but it has been a week.
