Great experience! When I go to the Bay from LA, I don't have a gym membership. This class was a great solution to that because you can purchase sessions.
It was a well-balanced class in a nice clean facility.

I had the sweet and sweaty pleasure of experiencing LaLanne Bootcamp at their recent Ultimate Cheat Day event with Artistic Bites and Milk and Cookie Bar! Needless to say, I worked hard to earn those indulgent post-workout treats.
(Full disclosure: this was a free event)
For 30 minutes, Chris rotated our class of 20-ish from the treadmill to the bike to the floor and back again. In no time, I felt my heart, lungs, and muscles working!
It's a really cool space. There's lots of natural light, trendy decor, changing areas, and even a kid's play area! The studio itself is lined with mirrors and filled with high-energy music - just what I need to stay focused during a workout.
Chris and Maribel made the experience very personal by introducing themselves and even calling a few minutes before class to confirm that I was on my way. I'm not sure if the phone calls are typical for non-events, but it certainly would hold me accountable if I came here regularly.

OH MY GOODNESS! I am SUPER HOOKED ON LALANNE BOOTCAMP! The classes are unlike anything I have ever tried!
Chris LaLanne is such a motivating instructor and incredibly knowledgeable. He checked in with me before, during and after my classes. I have never experienced that level of coaching ever and I have been in the fitness field my whole adult life. Their customer service is phenomenal. Maribel LaLanne is just the sweetest person ever. She made me feel right at home. TJ is the funniest guy! He was cracking me up the whole time.
Their studio is beautiful. I feel very zen when I am there. It feels like a spa. I love it! I love that there is plenty of parking and that BART is across the street. It is family-owned and operated and you can feel how much they truly care for their members. It feels nice to be valued. I am making lifetime friends here. When I leave, I feel uplifted, as though I just watched a TED Talk. It's pure therapy I tell ya and I can already see results. That's the best part of it all. Great workout. Friendly staff. Chic, clean, new atmosphere and equipment. Worth the membership.
Came here for a 30 minute HIIT workout and I got an effective workout in a short amount of time! It was my first class and I used at promo code HIIT30 for a free first class. I downloaded the app prior, and signing up was simple! There wasn't a waitlist, and I booked the class with no problem.
Directions to the gym were straight forward, parking was abundant, right behind the gym, and it was only steps away from BART! It's a nice area, and on this Saturday morning there was a farmers market across the street.
Walking in, I was greeted by the very friendly owner, Maribel LaLanne and trainer TJ. It was easy to sign myself in on the iPad, and one the first things I noticed was the beauty of the gym. When I think gym, I think dirty and smelly, but this gym, especially the entry way, had a beautiful finesse, classy style, almost reminiscent of a relaxing spa. The room where you workout is sharp, clean, and built to know when you walk in, you're going to work hard. It's so trendy, I would want to design my home like it- wooden panels, moss sign, granite, modern decorations... There were towels to use and drop off in the laundry basket, clean bathroom, fancy changing rooms, large play area for children, couch, sitting area and area to roll out and relax after class. They are still going to have lockers that have not been put in yet, but there is a lot of space to place your stuff.
On this particular day there was a rep educating about Keto Diet and sampling drinks. He was very knowledgable, helpful and I since I'm on a Keto Diet, (Even if you're not, you can have it) I did end up purchasing his products Keto //OS. It's very cool that LaLanne Bootcamp has more than just a gym- it features other things for your lifestyle.
The HIIT class started and ended on time. It was a full body workout that left me sweaty. TJ is an experienced and motivating trainer that kept us on our toes, called us by our first names and encouraged us to push harder. We switched from the treadmill, exercises with dumbbells, the bike and exercises on the floor. In 30 minutes that is actually a lot, and he did keep our heart rate up with a 2 minute break in between. I think it's do-a-ble for all fitness levels, and there were modifications offered. If you are an amateur as i am for working out this is the place for you!
My very first day Eddie the morning trainer made me feel very welcome, so did the front desk.Eddie is great he makes sure that you are doing the workout correctly without making you feel like you're out of place. The trainers are always in a great mood, filled with energy and positive feedback.
The place i very clean and really well put together. CLEAN! was what really hooked me. They even have hair ties (ladies) if you ever forget yours at home.
They have a variety of morning and evening classes so its is easier to adjust to busier schedules they even do SUNDAYS! The workouts are great, and intense although they can be though its is exactly what your body needs. The trainers help you push yourself to your full potential.

So happy I found this place. After I had my first kid, I stopped working out. No time, no child care, just tired... all the excuses you could think of. Five years later, I decided to start working out again. I knew a typical gym would not work and started to look up personal trainers. That's when I came across Lalanne and tried the free class.
Pros:
- trainers: all so friendly and welcoming, zero intimidation. Chris, Vanessa (she always helps with modifications, which I appreciate) and Chelsea are great!
- not super crowded/stuffy
- kids play area & childcare @Mel's play place, b/c without it.. I wouldn't be able to workout
- front desk: probably the friendliest I've ever seen for a gym. They are always so nice to me and my kids. One time my son was crying while I was working out, the young man at the front desk was kind enough to hold him and try to console him.
- Very efficient use of 30 minutes (hard to make any excuse not to go)
Con:
- it's pricey, but you're paying for everything I listed above.. and for me, the kid's corner/Mel's is priceless.

Great workout! I live in the area and have been wanting to check this place out for a really long time but I guess I didn't have the motivation or was making an excuse. Yesterday I finally checked it out and it's a really nice space and set up. At first I thought I couldn't get a good workout in in just 30 minutes but waking up the next day I'm feeling pretty sore.
This place reminds me of Barry's bootcamp, but it feels more welcoming. What's great is that the first class is free definitely check it out ! LaLanne Bootcamp is an incredible workout that has been life changing for me. I didn't believe I was capable of doing high intensity interval training at my age (47) & with a history of back problems. I was challenged by my daughter to try it and I ended up absolutely loving it.
Each day is a new workout. You are instructed exactly what to do by really amazing coaches who show you the correct form and how to do everything you will be doing at each workout. Some days are core, or upper body, lower, etc. For me the best part is that the classes are just 30 minutes so I can't make excuses that I have no time to work out.
I have been attending classes for two years now and I feel fantastic! The classes continue to challenge me as my fitness level increases. Consistently doing the workouts, and recommended stretching with the foam rollers (provided in stretching area) Has me feeling more fit, stronger, and healthier than ever before.
My back and core are much stronger and my posture has improved from the strengthening workouts. This strength has given me more confidence so that I no longer suffer with the fear that my back will "give out" on me again.

I thought I'd wait to write a review to see if I'd really stick with Lalanne. Here I am over 6 months later, still loving it! Lalanne has been such a great experience for me for many reasons.
A friendly + non-intimidating environment is so important to me. The typical gym atmosphere tends to give me anxiety and makes me feel insecure so the welcoming vibe at Lalanne is a major plus.
As someone who tends to get bored, the variation in workouts has kept me interested and keeps my body guessing.
I was initially concerned that a 30 minute workout wouldn't feel like enough.. I quickly learned that I probably couldn't go longer than 30 minutes if I wanted to. And if you're feeling a little extra cray, you can always do 2 classes back to back!
