I've never done Pilates on a machine before( and I'm terribly out of shape), it was explained to me how it works before the class and even though I didn't make it through the whole class the instructor was fabulous. He wasn't pushy with me when I couldn't move at all, just encouraged me to try again after a bit of a rest. I can feel all the muscle in my body screaming at me today in a good way. It was hard but I want to go back because it felt so good.
