From the moment we stepped through the doors, we felt warmly welcomed and in the midst of professionalism.
Dave is amazing with his knowledge and skill of the high tech magnetized pulsing. My wrist has not felt this good since 2019 when I broke it. He also did amazing therapy on my knees and hips. The best way to describe it is my body feels free.
I enjoyed learning new things about health and healing while visiting with Victoria. She is so smart creative and beautiful.
Renatta did a lymphatic massage for me, and I was feeling energized before I left her room. She is so delightful and knowledgeable.
They all are such peaceful, encouraging people with a high standard of excellence.
We bought the big package and will be gladly traveling 2 hours for our next treatment.
My husband is feeling so much better. He has had back surgery and 11 years later broke his back when his tractor ran off the side of a mountain.

I tried KUR for the first time last weekend after seeing their VIP first time experience on Yelp. I am in the middle of a Whole30 cycle and I wanted a bit of extra wellness.

I have never tried an infrared spa before and the owners walked me through the process and actually the entire spa before I got started. The sweat felt so good!!!! My skin was glowing after especially my legs that were dry from winter. I hopped in the salt room and it was great meditative rest while I rehydrated. That may have been what made my skin so smooth.

One thing I would particularly recommend to check out is the electro-magnetic table. I tried it on different parts of my body - I have a reoccurring ankle sprain from falling down the stairs about 10 years ago. I noticed the next day it was a big tender then that went away, it seems to be less swollen then normal. I am curious if how long my pain will stay away it comes back pretty randomly.

But what was so great about KUR is that the owners were so nice! They really made it my afternoon enjoyable and I can't wait to go back.

I love coming here. I have been seeing Renate for lymphatic massage for several months. She is professional, kind and full of good information about how to continue to care for yourself at home. This is a family run business and they are all so warm and caring. The whole spa is extremely clean. Sophia gives a wonderful deep tissue massage.

Initially tried the health spa by purchasing the "VIP Experience" offer, as I wanted to try out their infrared beds. So glad I did! The cost to try out the bed was great, plus you get a foot soak and a salt therapy session. It was a steal! My visit started with the foot soak which is semi- self explanatory- but definitely doesn't sell the full experience! It's lovely... your feet are soaked in warm still water, then scrubbed with homemade scrub of your choice (various scents to choose from!), along with a great foot massage! On to the infrared bed... I have used infrared saunas in the past, but this is a lay down infrared bed, which is great for someone like me who has a hard time sitting still! ;) it's very relaxing! There is calming lights in the room and aromatherapy. A staff comes in to spray your face half way through (with rose water) and places cotton rounds in your eyes or forehead (that have been spritzed with rose water). Great touch of lux:) lastly, the salt therapy; I have also experienced salt therapy before, and this experience is at the top of my salt therapy list:) calming room with color therapy:) I also gave the magnetic therapy a whirl! It was offered at no charge:) I loved it! I ended up purchasing a membership (which you use credits for treatments).
I would HIGHLY recommend! Fair prices, super clean, quality infrared beds, and LOVELY owners! I cannot day enough about the kind family ownership! The wife, husband, and daughter are lovely!!! All work there and are the sweetest people ever!

What a GEM! I love this place and the family. I can't say enough wonderful things about the magnet, infrared sauna, and massage. I highly recommend trying any and all of the services they offer. Enjoy! : )

I'm the kind of girl who gets excited about organic juice, Pilates and natural medicine. Yep, I'm a California girl living in Charlotte. While I love living here, there are certain things I miss. So when my girlfriend told me about the Himalayan salt room and infrared sauna at KUR, I knew I had to go. Then, when my doctor told me about the benefits of infrared sauna therapy, I booked my first appointment. To give you an idea of how awesome this place is, I've been twice in the last 5 days.

Visit one:
When I walked into KUR, the first thing I noticed was how clean and peaceful the place is. It has a European feel with a dash of southern hospitality. I was greeted by Dave, one of the owners, and his daughters who also work at the spa. I thought I would just be shown the way to the sauna, but instead I was offered a refreshing alkaline water with a frozen, organic strawberry, and given the tour and story behind KUR. I won't spoil the story, but I would highly suggest you hear the purpose behind what Dave and Renata have put together at KUR. It's much more than a business for this family. They truly care about each customer who comes through the door, and they are committed to helping people improve their health and sense of well being.

After the tour, I was offered a foot bath with Frankincense infused salt to help relax the body and mind. I was then guided to my private suite where a sauna was adjusted to a power to help me with my health goals. The cool thing about this sauna is it is a bed with a cover which allows the user to fully relax, while the infrared waves warm every part of the body. After 15 minutes, one of Dave's daughter's offered a cool and refreshing spritz of rose water on my face and cold compresses for my eyes. Once my session was complete, I was offered more water and a homemade chocolate covered strawberry. Delightful!

Visit 2:
On my tour during visit 1, I learned of the antiviral and antibacterial benefits of a salt room. I was struggling with congestion after getting the flu so I thought I would give it a try. When I arrived, Dave and his wife Renata greeted me with hugs and welcomed me back into their spa like I was family. Before the salt room experience, I was invited to a foot bath with essential oil. This time, I experienced a complimentary foot scrub and massage by Renata. O.M.G. it was better than massages I've gotten during a pedicure, not to mention my feet were silky smooth after. Renata is an RN, and you can tell how much she enjoys caring for people.

Ok, let me tell you this isn't some salt room with salt lamps or a salt wall that you sit in and hope the salt somehow makes its way to you. While there is a salt wall, there is also very finely ground Himalayan salt sprayed into the air. Don't worry, its so fine that you can't even tell you're breathing it in. Renata told me to inhale through nose and mouth to really let the salt work in my sinuses and airway. I'll admit, I was a bit skeptical about the benefits of sitting in this room for 30 minutes. That was until my sinuses cleared and my cough disappeared. This is going to be a regular visit for allergy and cold relief. And during the Summer, I'll enjoy replenishing my electrolytes in the salt room as well.

There's one other machine at KUR that I have not tried yet. It promises to bring much-needed pain relief to people who suffer from muscle and joint pain. Once I try it out, I promise to report back. I HIGHLY recommend KUR. I promise you wont be disappointed. Please note, I am not a friend or family member, I'm simply a thrilled customer who wants to spread the word.

I originally came here with a birthday gift certificate. I absolutely love Kur! I think it's great that it is a family owned and operated small local business and feel good about purchasing services from them. Anybody who values self care will love the treatments and providers!

Kur Health Spa is Charlotte's newest secret. David and Renate are so kind and welcoming- I felt like I've known them for years! I booked the New Client VIP Experience which included the infrared sauna and salt room. David kindly offered me strawberry alkaline water and gave me a tour of the spa.

We kicked everything off with the magnetic table and let me tell you- it's AMAZING how much mobility and the range of motion I have in my right shoulder now. Constant stress and hunching over a computer leads to lots of neck/shoulder pains and headaches. I had some pain before I laid on the table, popped up feeling good as new.

Renate gave me such a relaxing foot soak before the infrared sauna. The choice of wonderful essential oil sugar scrubs is just one of the many details and services offered. I jumped into the infrared sauna and it was awesome! I was in a private, single suite and for 16 minutes I quietly meditated/relaxed and then Renate knocked, placed rose water/orange oil Pass on my eyes and spritzed me with a similar mix. It was heavenly! She provided a timer with 15 more minutes set, which was so helpful because I definitely nodded off for a bit.

Once I was done in the infrared sauna I went to the salt room. I relaxed in a wonderful chair and breathed in the salt and just relaxed. It was the perfect way to cool down from the sauna.

The entire visit I was consistently offered the delicious strawberry alkaline water (hydration is super important!) and David and Renate answered any and all questions, and were incredibly gracious hosts.

I left feeling lighter, relaxed, and could actually breathe through my nose (my allergies are bad) after being in the salt room! I cannot recommend Kur enough!
