Customer Reviews Back to Business Profile

  • Great coaching and facility.
  • The coaches here are incredibly professional, welcoming, and genuinely hospitable. The whole place has the feeling of a community center—open, inclusive, and welcoming to people who may simply want to come in, explore, and see if this is something they want to commit to. That said, the membership is expensive, and the current class schedule can make it difficult to commit. Many of the classes are either very early or quite late. I think there is a real opportunity to make the space more accessible by offering more late-morning, midday, or afternoon classes. I also think this place has tremendous potential for women’s self-defense training. Creating programming specifically for women could make a meaningful difference, particularly for women who have experienced trauma. For some survivors, transitioning immediately into physical practice with men can be triggering or feel unsafe, even when the coaches themselves are incredibly respectful and professional. Having women-centered classes or a gradual pathway into mixed training could make the practice much more accessible. Overall, there is something special about this place. The coaches and community have created a welcoming environment, and I hope they continue developing programming and scheduling that allows more people—especially women—to experience what they have to offer.
