Kiva Cafe and Spa provides a great whole-spa experience. The setting and mood are very relaxing and the staff are experienced and skilled. The only reason I gave a score of "9" vs. ""10" is that I thought (and I may be wrong about this) more ambient light during my deep cleaning facial would have revealed more areas in need of attention. Not being an aesthetician I don't know if just a focused magnified light is enough to comprehensively evaluate a client's skin. I was just surprised that more extractions were not needed where I have had traditional problem areas. But again, a great experience and very competent and also relaxing. I really enjoyed the multiple layers of serums and treatments that opened up, cleared, and then soothed and restored my face's balance. No irritation, blood spots, or swelling. Very gentle and effective.

My massage was amazing! The guy who did my massage listened to me and paid close attention to my pain areas. Only bummer is I am allergic to tea tree oil and he missed that on the intake form. So I am dealing with a rash, but the massage was so good I don't even care!!
