• Because I rock that careless, metropolitan, working-on-a-novel look, I'm used to eye-rolling disdain when I walk into either a traditional machista barber shop, or "unisex" salon, whose preferred clientele is women. From the outset, The King's Crown made me feel welcome - like I'd come to the right place. The stylist worked with me carefully on the look I wanted, and gave my hair and beard the best care it's ever had. The café and bar service, and the cool vintage shaving gear (and weapons!) on the walls made me wish I could hang out here, even when I don't need a haircut!
