I did the Sunday Yin class with Karla. Very easy pace and range of ages and people in the class. Very welcoming atmosphere. Studio is very clean and they practice Covid safety. I think this studio is under new management. Vibe much more minimal and modern then some of the pictures on Yelp.

You must try Kim's yoga massage class if you're looking for a unique yoga experience that also incorporates deep tissue massage! Her techniques for using the foam roller, yoga blocks, and yoga balls are amazing, and working out in a serene environment elevates your experience.

The studio has been updated since covid. The procedures are very safe, the studio is very well ventilated. I loved the vinyasa, yin and yoga therapy classes. The teachers were very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend!

I really enjoyed the class I took with Sandra (Yin). She has a very close local following and as a "tourist" I felt a little like an outsider. Which is ok, it's Yoga - you are there to 'go in' not make friends, I'm just used to the Midwest hugging when you meet someone from out of town. :)
The studio is clean and has plenty of props to borrow. The class was packed and the room is smaller than the photos make it look, but it was very cozy.
Class was very easy to follow and Sandra gave me an amazing shoulder adjustment (MELT). We even had a little rain shower that day and that added to the zen of it all. I'd go back for sure next trip to the island.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Courteney M.Koloa, HI287May 4, 2018

Kalaheo Yoga is an excellent studio. If you are on the south side of Kauai staying in the Poipu Beach area, it's only a 10min drive from there!
The Yoga-Barre with Laura and Courtney are amazing, I had to opportunity to take both their classes! Sara's restorative yoga is the best thing after a long day or to prepare yourself for the week ahead.
I would recommend Kalaheo Yoga to anyone- you are lucky if you live on island and can attend weekly!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Barton C.Chicago, IL375314Dec 9, 2012
I started a dedication to Vinyasa Yoga this past summer and wanted to keep up my practice while vacationing in nearby Poipu. I checked out the website and then stopped by when I arrived in Kauai. Very nice studio! I bought the 3-class package and attended the Mon/Wed/Fri 8-9:30am Vinyasa Flow classes (Paul on Monday, Sandra for Wed/Fri). The instructors were very friendly & helpful and the locals that attended the classes helped me feel at home in Kalaheo. Without a doubt, one of the highlights of my trip to the islands of Kauai! I will be back for more on my next trip! ~Namaste~
