This review is long overdue, as it has been exactly 1 year to the day when I first contacted Elie to fix my and my daughter's hair from a previous long term relationship with another hairdresser that went drastically downhill!
Elie is a magician in this business. Over the past year, the sorcery and talent that Elie possesses has transformed our hair 180 degrees! We came to her with terrible breakage, overprocessed, overtoned, uneven bands of brassy gold, orange and yellow. Elie told us to trust the process and let her work her magic. She was forthright and honest in telling us that it will take time and patience and several appointments to get us that long, healthy and proportionately perfect icy blonde we had been desiring for years. 1 year later, my daughter and I can successfully say this woman has fully delivered on her promises! She is a treasure, not only as a super-talented elite stylist, but also an extraordinary human being. We love you, beautiful Elie! 5 stars us not enough for you! You deserve all the stars in the universe!

TLDR: 2 stars ONLY because the stylists are amazing, otherwise would be 1 for the terrible customer service.

If you need a quick cut/color and you NEED it to look good, Juan Juan can do it for you. But if you are looking for a long term, reliable salon, this is NOT the place for you. I have come here four times and every time I have had issues with the front desk, scheduling, unexpected prices/charges, and late stylists. They do amazing hair here but I just cannot keep coming here issue after issue for the high prices they charge.

I called this Salon to ask for a price. Spoke to Diana. The price was fine but her attitude was not. If you run a business and you put a person on the phone with no personality and not very nice I probably don't want to use your service. To bad because I do believe in supporting small business but I also believe in treating all people well and with kindness First impressions are forever lasting.

Way too expensive definitely only for the rich but without the service it used to be how we all fall short I. These years

Elie at Juan Juan is the BEST! She has continually done my hair, and both of my daughters' hair, to such great satisfaction! Her balayage compares to no other! She has been our colorist for too many years to count, and she is the only one who can do blonde the way I love - the color variation and techniques truly are an art form by Elie! To top it all off, she's a delightful kind hearted person too! You won't believe her transformations as well as the upkeep. I'm always more than happy when I leave the salon after color and her hair styles, that are always kept with the latest trends !!! Her IG is @Elie_jj

Update: I replied to Sean with my contact information and never received a response. Not only that, I recently met someone who had the exact same experience here with the same hairdresser.

I highly recommend Elie J (Instagram: @elie_jj)! I met Elie about 2.5 years ago when I was looking to transform my damaged and washed-out dyed dark brown hair. I typically like to play with hair color and had dyed my bleached blonde hair a very dark brown color that did not suit me. Over the last 2.5 years, Elie has transformed my damaged hair into soft healthy hair all while going from dark brown, to bronde, to red, and most recently to a cool tone blonde.

The fact that I have been able to play with so many colors over a relatively short time period all while healing the health of my hair is a testament to what a rare talent Elie is. Her Instagram speaks for itself and she is a master at what she does.

I look great every time I leave this place! The people are talented and the prices are very good.

Front desk women is EXTREMELY RUDE. I walked in with no greeting, just staring at her phone, won't look you in the eye. i was worried bc I was 5 minutes late. She said she would notify the stylist that I arrived. After waiting 20+ minutes, I asked how much longer. She never informed the stylist i arrived and was there waiting. I've walked in several times to this salon asking questions about services before and each time it was the same lady at front desk and she has constantly been so rude to customers.
