• I’ve been coming here for years and always have a great result. Yesterday, however the girl who washed my hair was really rough… and did not take her time. I don’t think she conditioned my hair. I had planned on drying my own hair before leaving and asked for a round brush, and some heat protectant. She came over and literally put 2 pumps in the back, and took the bottle with her. When I went to begin drying my hair, I noticed how dry and tangled it was… it was very difficult to manage. Then, I looked at the round brush she gave me and it looked like someone had put it through the garbage disposal. There were so many bristles missing and the ones that were still on the brush were bent, and dried out. I tried to get her attention to see if I could get a new brush, and some more leave in spray but she disappeared, and my color stylist was with another client at the time. So, I ended up just leaving to finish up at home. For 325 dollars , I guess I’ve come to expect a higher level of attention to these little things. This is not the type of service I normally receive at JR Salon, so it was a little disappointing. Please just remind shampoo assistants and others who help the stylist that these details matter just as much as the actual services they’re paying for. I did not tip yesterday, which was a first for me. But I did not feel the overall experience yesterday met the standards that I know is expected form everyone at JR.
