• so - I had my nails done (very rare for my HAND nails) and a pedi. June 13th, 2 days before my trip to Reno. I asked for vinylux on my fingers because it lasts FOREVER on my toes. You guys said not to expect that on my fingers. My nails are SUPER short - SUPER thin, ridgy and often split down the middle or break way down into the nail bed (OUCH). Luckily they were almost all in good shape (for MY nails anyway) on the day of my manicure. My goal: Get them looking as "pretty" as was possible for me. My nail beds are very short so I wanted cuticles pushed back/trimmed, hang nails trimmed, nails all filed to the same length (which was virtually NO length!) and a coat of something shiny that would hopefully last through my week long trip to see family and some old friends I hadn't seen in awhile. Both the mani and pedi came out great but I was so worried because I was told not to expect more than 3-5 days with the vinylux. So today is day 15. How is the manicure? Well, to be honest....I almost cant see a difference between today and day one! Well, that's not really true. They've grown out about 1/8 " Since they're only about 3/8" long that's a lot. But I got a very pale color so they still look good. IMPORTANT FACT: THEY DID NOT PEEL OR CHIP! Vinylux is proving to be as long wearing on my fingernails as on my toe nails (so far)! I will definitely repeat this process and hope to get 3 weeks out of each mani to keep the expense down a bit. I love that Vinylux will come off with regular removal and not need any harsh long exposure to removal or scraping like gels or acrylics. I LOVE vinylux! You can use my full name too. Marie Groh
