What a very cool relaxing experience. This place is tucked away in Fort Benjamin Harrison. It was 45 mins of solid relaxation and my body absorbing the salt crystals.
The staff were amazingly friendly. I'm also a sucker for purchasing anything that's going to help me feel zen! They had an array of products to choose from, which I can't wait to try a few that I purchased.
This was a great way to decompress and just check out for a while!!!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - May 29, 2023
I came to experience the salt cave and infrared sauna several years ago, just after the grand opening, but somehow this place fell off my radar until last week. Suddenly I got the itch to visit a sauna and remembered the amazing experience I had here.
No experience with saunas is needed! If you've never been to an infrared (dry) sauna, the staff is very friendly and informative, and they'll tell you everything you need to know before leaving you to bake. During a sauna session, you're set up in a cozy, private room (the door locks!) with LED light therapy. There is a remote inside the sauna to change the LED color (I've read that a minimum of 3-5 minutes is best to get the benefits from each color, so try to resist flipping around like I did!). Bonus: the sauna has Bluetooth so you can stream directly into the speakers in the booth. I like to listen to a guided meditation during my session! Thankfully, towels are provided--imo, the best part is the cool lavender towel waiting for you at the end!
I have only been in the salt cave once, pre-covid, but it was a nice, relaxing experience. There are other people with you usually, so be prepared for that. It's nice and cool in the salt cave, too, so a blanket or sweater is good to have. Little heated salt blocks are provided during the session for you to hold. Talking about this is making me want to go again...Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Annie Q.Indianapolis, IN11025Feb 19, 2024
This place is like Heaven. The staff is all very friendly, eager to help and explain things. There is a beautiful shop where you can find helpful healing items for home use. We even purchased a gorgeous lamp that we enjoy nightly now. If you have never done a cold plunge you are missing out. Doing it as a couple was both intimate and invigorating. I have arthritis and this place was amazing. I had relief for the following week at least. (That is a lot for arthritis believe me)
Anyway, I booked the salt cave and a couples fire and ice for myself and my husband for our anniversary. My husband even said that it was the best thing we have ever done. We are about to book our second experience today! So, what are you waiting for?Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jan 4, 2023
Let's be honest, I'd move in here if I could.
Whether you're planning a day with friends or need a solo, treat yo self, tired of staring at a computer screen break, I highly suggest this place. If you need to spend time with someone but don't want to talk, you'll thank me later because the salt cave is a quiet zone
But seriously, this is an experience like none other. It's really quite magical. A unique and relaxing environment WITH health benefits. I went today and just a couple minutes into the session my sinuses were clearing up.
Put on some cozy clothes, grab a blanket, and a book or your headphones (or don't and plan to take the most peaceful nap you've ever had ) and make your way there. You won't regret it.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Sep 26, 2023
I found this place on TikTok and decided to call. When I called and set an appointment the lady was very helpful. There's plenty of parking when you get there. It smells amazing the second you walk in. The decor is amazing and very relaxing. You check in and you have to wear booties since you can't touch the salt. You can use the restroom and also give you tea before your session. The cave is a little chilly so wear warm clothes. It's dim lighting so you can read, be on your phone, or listen to music on your ear pods. It's a quiet zone so it's more relaxing. I personally did not think it would be relaxing sitting there but I was pleasantly surprised. I was able to relax since most people don't just sit and think. My husband fell asleep. When we can out you can either drink more tea or you can buy some of the things they sell. I personally felt very relax and customer service was amazing. Price is very reasonable. Highly recommended this place 5 stars across the board.

We went to the Salt Cave for the first time last fall and really enjoyed ourselves. We didn't know fully what to expect, but it was a great activity for a relaxing girls day.
We checked in, browsed around the products for sale up front, and grabbed some complimentary hot tea before we started our services. We did the two-person sauna session and then went into the cave.
Note--it gets very cool in the cave so bring a jacket or two!
It was incredibly relaxing and ended up dozing off in our chairs while the salt did it's 'magic.'
Would certainly suggest this as a unique date, day out, or regular part of your routineHelpful 4Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Oct 8, 2021
Such a cool experience! I love the location too. Usually you would expect these types of places to be near the fisher, Carmel or keystone area. Making it difficult to schedule for most people and busy traffic wise.
Since this is located near the fort it is super easy to get too and doesn't seem to be too hard to schedule. The ladies there were so nice and friendly! They really made me feel comfortable for my first salt room experience. I don't know if it's a placebo but I actually did feel a bit cleansed and relaxed during and afterward.
Highly recommend and you will catch me coming back :) also worth noting... if you are looking for a unique gift for someone this place has a bunch of neat little options that you can grab. From holistic to even salt style bottles of tequila !Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Shelton B.Fairfield, OH29111Sep 21, 2023

This place is awesome. If you need some allergy relief, muscle tension relief, or stressless quiet time, try this place out. The salt cave is gorgeous and really does help with allergies and breathing issues. The infrared saunas and hand foot detox are great too and help with my muscle inflammation. I always have inflammation lol.
The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable.
There is strip parking outside that is marked with posts for the lot.
They offer free water and hot tea. There are several items to look at for purchase ranging from salt lamps to soaps, bath products etc. Practically everything is salt related or locally produced by small companies.
Bring a blanket if you get chilly.
Dress in layers for the hand foot detox, it can get warm im the room.Helpful 2Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 0 - Aug 4, 2021
This Salt Cave and Halotherapy Center is tucked away in an old firehouse in Fort Benjamin Harrison. When you walk in you're immediately greeted with feelings of relaxation and calm. There's the front desk and various products for sale for personal wellness in the lobby area. After signing our waivers, my group of 5 was lead to the cave for 45 minutes of soothing salt inhalation. My breathing felt better and I could taste the salt in the air on my lips. Water features in the background added to the tranquility. We were given warmed salt blocks to rub on our bodies to help with inflammation. The experience was a positive one. The ladies at the center were very helpful and informative. I want to return and try other services they offer and do the cave again as well.
