I love inBody. This is my go-to haven when I need to decompress from all of life's stressors. The float spa is everything! I never believed in sensory deprivation until I actually felt the experience myself. It's life changing just how rejuvenated one can feel after a restful experience.
Every time I enter I'm warmly greeted by reception. The space is so cozy and prices are just right. This place is a must try!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0Business owner information

I have anxiety and arthritis in my neck. My body and mind felt so good after floating today. The place itself is so relaxing. I've never floated before and thought the experience was so cool! There's the option of music and lighting inside the tank, but I kept it dark and quiet. The tank is in a private room with a shower, and I showered before and after floating. Afterwards, I was offered tea and told I could sit in the relaxation room. Overall, a great experience and would love to come back again!

Hi Julie! Thank you for your review of inBody! It is so great of you to share your experience with everyone. Many people that have not experienced floating think that you are laying in complete darkness, it was great of you to explain all of the options of floating here and how you felt afterwards. Next time, you will have to try the organic herbal tea! It is so yummy. Have a great day, we hope to see you again soon.

This is a great place to go if, like me, you're curious about float therapy but have never been before. The float room is literally that - not a tank or a pod. I never felt claustrophobic and never felt like I couldn't get out at any time. The default settings are for soft lighting and music, but a panel on the wall allows you to turn them off and on. Knowing that I was more in control of my experience made it less intimidating.
It's a one-hour session. I didn't have any deep revelations in there and just tried to enjoy the feeling of weightlessness and drifting, and to stretch. I do wish the tub was a little bit bigger - at times my toe or hand would hit the perimeter of the tub and it would take me out of the moment a bit. But given how much salt needs to go into the water to make it buoyant, I can understand why. And I'm 5'8" and was able to float while both my arms were raised above my head.
I live in Arlington and was surprised that inBody has been there for two years! I hope more people find it and give this bright, clean oasis a chance.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Business owner information

Today was a very cold day with low temperatures with wind chills at -23 degrees so my husband and I decided to try an infrared sauna for the first time.
We loved that we were hot without being overwhelmed by the heat. The sauna is state of the art and everything (temperature, heaters, music, lights, etc) can be easily controlled inside on the touch screens.
The experience was amazing and truly helped warm us from the inside out. The business is extremely clean, stylish and comfortable. They don't miss any details.
After our sauna session we enjoyed a yummy cup of tea in the relaxation room - complete with fountain, fireplace, essential oils, and comfortable seating.
I can't wait to try another sauna or maybe the flotation experience. I have only great things to say about Inbody. I wish I could live there - it was so peaceful and rejuvenating!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Michelle M.Boston, MA166241124Sep 30, 2018
I was blown away by my experience. As soon as you walk in the door, the thoughtful decor and lounge area greet you, soon followed up by Valerie who checks you in. I have fibromyalgia and the Float Tank was highly recommended to me as a possible source of pain relief.
When you go into your private room, the first thing you do is shower. You have to make sure you're clean before going in the tub. Make sure to remove all jewelry and that you don't have any cuts on you (it'll hurt!!). You have 5 minutes to undress and shower before a gentle voice informs you that your experience is about to begin. You close yourself into the tub and have a choice of total darkness or a low light. Music or no music. I personally would recommend total darkness and silence. And then you float!
The whole experience was deeply relaxing and I could feel my whole body relaxing. That feeling stayed with me the whole day and I certainly can't wait to go again!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0Business owner information

Michelle, I'm so happy that you loved your experience and thank you for your thoughtful review! It was super informative and I'm sure very helpful for people that have never floated. I'm glad your mom reached out looking for some alternatives to pain relief. We hope to see you again soon.

My first visit to inBody in Arlington was just lovely. The space is serene, Valerie is lovely and the Float Tank was an amazing experience. I have a long standing problem with neck and upper back pain. The float helped relax chronic spasms in my shoulders and neck caused by a pinched nerve.
I'll be back!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

inBody is beautiful and spotlessly clean! The owner is so friendly, too. I tried the Himalayan salt infrared sauna, and left feeling amazing! I can't wait to go back! I'm also definitely going to try the float suite soon.

My first time doing this sensory deprivation float, upon a recommendation from a friend, and I really wish I'd have known of this before, other than in TV and movies.
I went this morning to the Arlington location and am sitting here pain free! Arthritis, tendonitis, back pain, knee pain. And I so tension free it's like I took valium!
