• The rooftop yoga on a beautiful sunny morning was absolute magic! It gave new meaning to the term Sun Salutation when we were rising up and “embracing” the sun as we came to stand. My mom passed away last month and I was looking for a way to feel close to her (she lived in Utica her entire life, whereas I had to travel almost two hours for this class) and I found it in the company of other yogis as we practiced on Sunday. I absolutely loved the instructor and am so filled with gratitude for this whole experience - for the restaurant’s cooperation in allowing us to do this, for the other students who showed up, for the good workout routine provided by the instructor, for the beautiful sunshine, and most of all for the ability to stand just a few feet closer to my dear mother when I needed it so much!
