I've been consistently attending the hot yoga classes here for the past couple of weeks, marking my return since the COVID hiatus. The hot yoga sessions include twenty six yoga positions. Stepping back into the studio, everything felt familiar and welcoming, just as I remembered it. Exploring classes led me to experience various teaching styles. Some instructors are more stringent with rules while others infuse humor and light-heartedness into their sessions. There are those who focus on individual attention, making posture adjustments as needed. Ultimately, the choice of instructor depends on personal preference. I particularly admire WeiWei and Mika as my favorite yoga instructors. They go above and beyond by taking the time to learn your name and providing personalized adjustments to your posture during the yoga classes. Regardless of who leads the class, I always leave feeling accomplished. I recommend this class for those who are committed and ready to embrace the challenge of spending ninety minutes in an extremely hot room with lots of other sweaty people, while engaging in demanding yoga positions amidst a community of dedicated practitioners.
The only drawback is the challenge of parking, which can vary from quick finds to lengthy searches of up to ten or fifteen minutes. There is a the Westlake Shopping Center that is about a few blocks away that you can park at. However, my car got broken into near the Home Depot there so I try to avoid parking there if possible. Otherwise there is free street parking that can sometimes be a challenge.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Feb 15, 2024
I recently attended this studio for two weeks, and it was my first experience with yoga. I was thrilled by the combination of exercises and the heated room. Despite enjoying my coaches and feeling like my journey into the world of yoga was beginning, I likely won't continue here. The main reason is the lack of comfort within the facility. The changing room is simply curtains, and the lighting throughout the studio was consistently dim. I think people just can find a place with qualified coaches and better conditions. But I definitely won't say that this place is bad!
In conclusion, I hope to see this place grow and improve certain aspects to greatly enhance the overall experience for all people.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Nov 6, 2023
I dragged my boyfriend here to do hot yoga with me for the first time through a class pass trial.
Instructor and general vibe of students: 5/5 many stayed in the lounging area to socialize after, very positive and encouraging. The instructor gifted us electrolytes when hearing it was our first time
Facilities: 4/5 the room did not get as hot as some of the other places I've been to which honestly allowed me to do more poses and I enjoyed that. I liked the addition of the aerated changing area outside of the stuffy bathroom and changing room area
I don't think I'll be coming back due to the parking situation and not living in that area but definitely think it's worth checking out for those who are in walking/biking distance!Helpful 0Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 1Business owner information

It was my very first time doing yoga, let alone hot yoga but me and my friend wanted to try it out.
I checked in and put my stuff in the cubby. I was told that the corners of the room are the hottest, so I made sure to avoid the corners. We first walked in, and thought "hmm, it's actually not that hot" so we settled in the middle area. Our jaws dropped when the heaters turned on LOL.
Mike was a great instructor. It was challenging yet fun. There was so many poses that I couldn't do, but I am terrible with flexibility and balance. Thankfully, Mike gave me a tip on how to do a pose and I was able to do it briefly. Maybe I'll get better in time.
I would totally be back for more.
Tip: bring your own mat & a towel. I didn't bring a towel so I was slipping and my mat had a print of my face and body which was hilarious.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Business owner information

I recommend taking Akiko's pilates classes. She is very passionate about what she does and pushes you to your limits. I feel like I get the best HIIT workout during her inferno pilates classes but I also enjoy taking her classic hot Pilates classes for lower impact. I had never done mat pilates classes prior to Akiko's classes but it has now become a hobby for me.
In terms of Bikram yoga classes, I prefer taking Sandy's classes. She's fosters a very welcoming environment and understands that everyone's flexibility is different. I had only started taking Bikram classs a few months ago with the goal of increasing my flexibility. I have noticed a significant different in my body's mobility and believe everyone should try it before they knock it. The classes feel lengthy 90 mins but it also helps to build your mental strength and endurance.
I took a star off for the cleanliness of the environment and because parking can be hit or miss. There's parking available on the street and in the residential area near the studio but usually all the spots are taken so I have to park in the lot of the shopping center down the street.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

This is one of my favorite workout studios in the Bay Area. Why?:
- The decor is very ~zen, featuring lots of plants and lanterns
- The studio itself is spacious and has padded floors
- Lots of equipment provided (weights, yoga blocks, etc)
- A great variety of instructors. I've loved each of their unique styles!
I mostly take pilates classes here. They offer both classic hot pilates and inferno hot pilates. I love the intensity and the focus on core work. The added element of heat makes for a therapeutic and detoxifying workout that burns a ton of calories.
The only thing I could ask for is even more time slots for their pilates classes!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 1Business owner information

It's very hard to find a parking in the neighborhood. I was 3-5 minutes late to the 4pm class today and I was not allowed to get in. I couldn't get my $26 drop in class fee refund. Very disappointed. I won't come back to this place anymore.

I really enjoyed this studio! One of the best bikram studios I've been too! I really appreciated the foam floors, I have bad knees and the studios with concrete floors don't do it for me. The heat was great, one of the warmest I've ever been too. Pam, the instructor, her dialogue was great. The lady at the front desk was super inviting and accommodating. I told her I was new and she showed me around the studio. I love all the plants when you first walk in. I felt GREAT after class! I did not get a chance to check out the bathrooms but there is plenty of storage space & areas to get ready before / after class.

I bought 2years of membership for 2019 and 2020.I used 2019. Then March of 2020 everything shut down because of the Covid Pandemic. When hot yoga opened up, I was unable to return to practice yoga. I contacted Christian, the owner, for a refund. But I'm having problems with him returning my money. I would advise everyone not to buy any two year memberships that he is offering. He is giving me the run around.

My only review of this place is-GROSS. I've been practicing for over ten years. Never have I been to a more unkempt unsanitary studio in my life. I didn't want to touch anything! I am new to the city and trying to find a new yoga home. This is definitely not it for me. I had to borrow a mat and it smelled like FEET. So bad that during the class I went to the receptionist to ask for a new one and her response was "they actually all smell like that". OK SO GET NEW MATS! I asked if I can have something to clean it and she offered me vinegar or FABULOSO? What? So toxic it's laughable.
When I first arrived actually there was a women just covered in sweat sitting on a bench letting her sweat drip everywhere and got up without wiping it off. I image the whole place is covered in everyone's filth. The instructor was ok led a very basic class. There was a women in a white thong and you could see her whole vagina during the class. I felt like I was in hell, but stayed until almost the end since I already paid. I will not be returning.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 2Business owner information
