I've been getting waxed for 5 years now, and when I'm in Chattanooga I'll go to Honey Bunny. I don't have a regular waxer because I don't live here full time but everyone I've had at Honey Bunny has been great and done a good job except for yesterday. I made an appointment yesterday to get a Brazilian and my appointment was with Amanda. I walked in and she was at the front desk and made a comment about how she couldn't wait to get off which trust me I understand. However, when she took me back I could tell she was in a horrible mood. I understand everyone has off days but her mood was taken out on my down under. Like I said, I've been getting waxed regularly for 5 years so it pretty much doesn't hurt at all when I go. This was the worst wax I've had in my life. She didn't wait for the wax to completely cool, so the wax wasn't pulled off in one rip and that was uncomfortable and painful because what should've been one rip was multiple. She then used the wax strip and paper method and did it so many times it started to burn. I've been burning so bad since and realized when I got home she actually ripped off my skin and it's completely red and irritated down there. Also, for my butt strip I was told to go on my side which I've never been asked before. I like Honey Bunny because of the price and I've never had a bad experience but because this was such a horrible experience and my skin is literally raw and missing I'm not sure if I'll be coming back. If I do, it won't be with Amanda.

I have been a loyal client at Honey Bunny for over three years, consistently scheduling waxing appointments every five weeks. Over that time, I have spent between $2,250 and $2,475 on services. Unfortunately, a recent experience has made it clear that continued loyalty holds little value at this business.
Due to an unforeseen work emergency, I was unable to make a 5:30 PM appointment. I am fully aware of their cancellation policy, but I had no control over the situation and made an effort to communicate and reschedule. Despite this, I was charged a 35% cancellation fee, which came to $18.25.
What made this more frustrating is the fact that the same technician had other availability that day, and the time could have easily been rebooked with another client. Rather than choosing to work with a dependable and long-standing customer, the business chose to enforce a fee without consideration of the context.
Ironically, that small fee turned out to be a turning point. I have since switched to sugar waxing, and the improvement in service is undeniable. No more burns from wax that's too hot, no skin trauma from wax that's too cold, and absolutely no redness or irritation. The difference in quality and care speaks for itself.
It's also important to note that over the course of three years, I experienced significant turnover among estheticians, making it difficult to maintain consistent quality and rapport.
While policies are important, so is discretion -- and in this case, the lack of flexibility cost them far more than the $18 they collected. They may have followed their policy, but in doing so, they made it clear that customer loyalty is not a priority. This is my second time at this location and won't be my last. I was going to someone else before for my waxing, but they kept me waiting over an hour without any sort of response on why they were late. Hour and half later she told me she won't be coming so I looked up other places. This place came across on my search and I called and they could take me right away. As soon as I walked in to me leaving I was there for about 20mins. The person I had was efficient and knew what she was doing. I've already been once more since then and will continue to go there. The price is also affordable. Clean and tidy on the inside.

Once you wax, you won't go back to shaving...and if you're going to wax then do it with these ladies. Highly trained by Alex, who learned from masters in Brazil. The salon is impeccably clean, bright and welcoming.
This is a safe place, there is never any feeling of being uncomfortable around the estheticians. Going for the Brazilian? Yes, they will see all your business. Guess what - they have seen thousands before you and it's all good, mama. Relax and just let them do their thing. Your first will hurt, can't lie, but after that it's no worse than a quick tug. Ripping off a bandaid. Deep breaths and it's over fast!

I have waited a few days to get my thoughts together as I wanted to tactfully review. This review is for Nathlie at Hamilton Place. I have NEVER in all my 60 years been treated as poorly as I was by her. At first I thought language barrier etc and maybe even lifestyle differences. I gave her benefit of the doubt which was the wrong choice. Each time I have gone she has made a comment about the way the hair grows. Surely in her 14 years experience that she brags about she has seen people with different textures and growth patterns. Why would she bring this up every single time like it is something the client could help? Then to actually roll her eyes at me numerous times over requesting to leave some hair. I have never been so embarrassed in my life. I've been scolded by her and treated extremely unprofessionally. (I will not get into the personal way she attacked me with her words) Each session with her I return home and it looks like a 15 year did the job and didn't want to complete the task. I've had waxes in the past from Lorencia in Dalton and I have not one time been made to feel awkward or ridiculous. She is a wonderful professional who needs to train others obviously on how to do their jobs. Nathalie is the WORST of the worst and I will never recommend any of my friends or enemies grace the door at Hamilton Place as long as she is employed there. I would rather drive an extra 30 mins and get what I pay for and be treated well.

Honey Bunny is clean and organized. I can tell that the owner takes time to ensure customers feel welcomed.

So I was 10 minutes late to my wax appointment, and I was told that I would have to reschedule. I was told there is only a 5 minute grace period for customers to arrive to their appointment. I had been in traffic, but the receptionist, Emma, didn't seem concerned. She only wanted to tell me the rules. I asked to speak with a supervisor, and Natalie, the supervisor told me she was going to help me, but she changed her mind because she didn't like my attitude. I have been a client of this location for 3 years now, and they would not work me in for a 30 minute wax. I always thought this was a business of women helping women, but no one wanted to go the extra mile for me. Emma also basically told me I was a liar when she told me I was 15 minutes late. Then as I'm walking out the door they said I was snobby. I've been in customer service, and I was always taught the customer is always right, but not at this establishment. It was a Friday afternoon, and they only seemed concerned about running out the door at closing. Very unprofessional. I was told the 5 minute grace period was posted in the store and on the website, but I didn't see it anywhere.I do not recommend.

this was my first time doing a full Brazilian Wax (a month and a half prior I did a sugar wax Brazilian at a different business). The atmosphere is welcoming but the wax wasn't it. I left & got home to find a lot of hair left. I ended up with ingrown hairs which is the worst. I don't think I'll be back.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
