I have had a great visit both times I visited Hiatus Plano, however there are a few things I would like to share from my visit on 4/15. When I arrived the front door was propped open and there were fans blowing everywhere and it was very hot. It seemed the AC had gone out. Which was fine life happens, but it was already around 80 degrees outside and I noticed the temp in the spa was almost 80 as well. I was with my mother who was extremely uncomfortable with the heat. No one had told us before hand or mentioned that the AC was out and it would be pretty warm in the spa. I personally feel this is something to warn customers about before they come in for several hours of services. I arrived about 45 mins before my service because I wanted to use the sauna and shower. Sadly the sauna wasn’t working and no one mentioned this before I came to the spa. It is one of the only “spa” amenities you have and I was looking forward to enjoying it. I was there from about 2:15pm-6pm and I did not see anyone come in to check on the ladies room. Not only did I not see anyone but I could tell no one had really been in because the same dirty cups were sitting on the counter almost the entire time. As well as spa shoes on the floor. There were also dirty cups scattered around the entire relaxation waiting room the entire time I was there. It would help if maybe there was a designated spot for dirty cups as well as used hair brushes. If I could add a couple suggestions as well: larger towels, I am on the plus side of things and the towels did not fully wrap around my body. There was still a gap which made it awkward navigating to and from the shower. I do appreciate having all the sized robes available so we do not have to ask for a larger size. This is nice. Another suggestion would be having a simple face wash and moisturizer or spf available in the bathroom as well as a body lotion, since you provide showers it would be a nice touch! Lastly I got the performance polish with dazzle dry which is supposed to be chip free for 7+ days and unfortunately as of yesterday my pointer finger on my left hand only has half of the polish because half peeled off only 2 days after.
