• I only give 9 because the master barber was hesitant to let the apprentice do what I originally asked for. I could have gone shorter. I totally understand why he was hesitant, I just felt like the apprentice's time was wasted. He essentially ended up doing the same haircut twice. I didn't have the heart to ask him to do it a third time with the one blade. I knew exactly what I wanted, I just didn't have the language to instill that same confidence in the master barber. The 1.5 blade worked fine, the cut was done to perfection and I would go back and let Mr. Khanh cut my hair again. Additionally, even though this particular shop did not cater specifically to Type 4 Afro textured hair, they were able to quickly gather the tools needed for my hair texture. They gave excellent customer service, the hot towel and neck massage was soooo relaxing, and I didn't feel uncomfortable - which can happen in some male customer centric barber shops. Overall 9/10 great experience.
