Entered Yelp, looking for top-notch barbershops, found one. Went to their website, booked an appointment, everything seemed fine - picked a stylist, chose a 30-minute cut for $60. Showed up on time, but the barber said he couldn't do my chosen style; it was a different cut that took 45 minutes. I didn't know about their time and cut gradation. Offered to pay extra or double, but he refused. Suggested rescheduling for another day. Disappointed with the service and inflexible approach, had to leave with a sour experience.

Do you know what competence is? It's when a pilot can fully control an aircraft without autopilot, when an athlete always gives 101%, and when a doctor treats a patient as if they were the last person on Earth. Everyone should focus on their own craft! At the very least, in the beauty services sector like a hair salon, individuals should leave with a positive mood, not a negative one.

I don't even want to talk about the atmosphere in the salon because I didn't get a chance to experience it.

Great vibe, kind, prompt and will follow specific instructions! Lucas and Luis are great and honestly we've worked with everyone at some point and they are all wonderful.

Paula gives a great haircut, has good recommendations for new styles, and also is quite friendly and positive. I try to get haircuts when on trips to the bay area since I moved away because I don't want to move on!

What can I say? I have been coming here for over 4 years now, and this is THE place to get your haircut! Louis has been cutting my hair, and coming in here is like stepping back in time. I brought in some nice whiskey, I can sit down and have a conversation with the people around me, without worrying about "guy-talk" that would embarrass my daughter. I have now brought my son (8 years old) to get his haircut here, and it is becoming one of those legacy places that people will continue, years and years from now. It is NOT cheap, but anything worth it never is!

Finding a good barber can be tough, especially when moving to a new city, but I struck gold with my man Alan! As a Black man, I know the importance of a barber who understands my hair type and takes the time to get it right. Alan always delivers. He's not just skilled; he's also creative and knows how to suggest new styles that suit me. The atmosphere at his shop is always friendly and welcoming. If you're looking for a barber who understands, can have great conversation with and gives you a cut you'll love, Alan Favela is your man. Highly recommend!

I haven't spent too much money on haircuts because of the long hair and lack of need, so I spent for the "Royal Treatment" and it was super worth it. My face felt super good afterward. I had a nice glass of whiskey from them! I was chillin' the whole time. And Keri hooked me up; I wasn't certain the exact haircut I wanted to walk out with, and she was super helpful and was clearly enjoying her job and knew what she was doing. Luis Candido is a trash barber. I asked for a low fade and a trim off the top....

Instead I got a toddler with clippers.... This place is horrible. The fact that an establishment would hire anyone of this shit caliber to cut hair is trash.
