Had plantar faciitis flare in my left foot. It's miserable and painful at the same time.

It comes unexpectedly and my foot swells top and bottom - not good. So, after spending a day with ice and heat on it. I decided to try cryotherapy. Yeah, it sounds like it came from a comic book...

I have always been a very active person and quite the fitness enthusiast for the last 18 years. I was running about 80 miles a week before I became injured about a year ago. Following my injuring, I turned to physical therapy and switched my exercise to indoor cycling, HIIT, and yoga when I couldn't run any more. In addition to physical therapy and switching my exercises, I used joint supplements, joint creams, and Tylenol.

I had first heard about Cryotherapy from a Real Housewives episode (true story... I know, please don't judge...lol). When I saw Cryotherapy, I knew it was something I had to try even though I knew nothing about it. After seeing Cryotherapy on the Real Housewives episode, I did a little of my own research to learn more. I was excited about all the benefits of it and immediately began searching for a Cryotherapy near Hinsdale, but only found the closest location in Chicago. Not too long after I had been scoping out a convenient location, Freeze Fix had opened right down the street from our home!! I was over the moon!

Today, I am doing cryotherapy daily for the past month and have noticed minimal to no knee pain. I sleep better and feel like my energy and performance are better than before I started Cryotherapy. So grateful to have found a proactive approach to staying healthy and active !! The staff are so welcoming and friendly every time I go too...Thank You Freeze Fix !!!

I went to Freeze Fix for the first time today with my paddle team. We all have so many aches and pains we wanted to try it out. I did 3 minutes in the cryotherapy booth (not a technical term) and the facial. It was quite an experience! I have a lot of shoulder pain normally and have to say, it feels really good right now. My body feels relaxed like how you feel after a massage.
The owner is adorable and makes you feel very comfortable through the process - explains everything to ease your apprehension. The space is nice, feels like a spa. They give you a soft robe, socks, slippers and mittens to wear.
I will definitely go back.

The staff here is pleasant, environment clean and actually this was the first place I tried Cryotherapy so it will always hold a special place in my heart. However I assume because it's in Hinsdale, the prices are really unrealistically high whether you pay for an individual session or a monthly membership. I recently joined a new gym in Yorktown Mall that offers the exact same treatment in a brand new and clean recovery room for a fraction of the price (less than 1/2 the cost) so will now make the 8 minute drive to Lombard instead.

They're friendly, knowledgeable and CLEAN. Always a Great experience every time I go. A must try - Cryoskin! It's my favorite treatment from FF.

I got a free token to try 1 "freeze". I was skeptical but figured, hey it's free. I didn't believe all the hype, but let me tell you, it's legit! I work out 5-6 times a week doing heavy lifting and long cardio and freezing has helped tremendously with my soreness. I also was having issues sleeping, and after I freeze I can tell that I am sleeping better -- falling asleep faster, and staying asleep. Definitely a good value if you buy the packages.

Love this place! Friendly staff, reasonable pricing and this "therapy" absolutely works. My legs feel perfect after killing them all weekend.

First timer and will for sure be going back! I typically hate being cold and for the first time didn't mind it! The staff was awesome and I felt so refreshed after!

Two months ago, I completed my first marathon and my body & I survived, thank you Freeze Fix! While training and doing my regular workouts, there were days I remember telling my legs to please just walk one in front of the other. I tore my ACL right before I started high school and it never bothered me until I started running more years later. Running outside, which I grew a great love for, became a lot harder when it started taking a toll on my right knee. During my longer runs, majority of my thoughts were focused on the pain I was causing my knee. I came to Freeze Fix in the middle of my training and it completely changed the way I viewed my last few weeks before the big day. Not only is it in a great location, the space itself is beautiful and relaxing. I started incorporating the whole body cryotherapy at Freeze Fix 2-3 times a week and I saw a tremendous improvement not only in my knee but my workouts & running overall. My focus was taken off my knee and I was able to fully enjoy the mental clarity that running gives me. The marathon was a wonderful & challenging experience but I truly feel as though my outlook would not be the same if I didn't find Freeze Fix. The day after the race, I could not have driven to Freeze faster to have my legs back!!

I would HIGHLY recommend to anyone that is looking to relieve sore muscles, improve their performance or just improve their overall health. The benefits of this quick freeze are definitely worth it. And hanging with Emily is just an added bonus while you freeze!

I've done cryotherapy before at a different place. FreezeFix seems to be a bit colder which is what you want in this sort of thing. Great facility, staff was very nice!
