I started mat pilates almost two years ago at the Form Body Lab. I went to the Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday classes and tried to come in on a regular basis for two to three times a week. The classes are usually pretty small. Most of the time we weren’t more than 5 people. This made it very intense and the trainer could help each of us individually. It didn’t took long and I felt more movable, fitter, stronger, more relaxt, stressless and more flexible. I learned to understand the exercise and to use my core muscles. All trainers are very high skilled and teach not only the excersices very well, but also why and how we are using the specific muscle groups. I got pregnant and continued with my usual classes till 20 weeks, then I changed to the prenatal mat pilates classes. Doing pilates through out my pregnancy really helped with the birth. My doctors were very impressed how well I was able to activate my core and pelvis in the pushing phase during birth. But most importantly I am back to regular mat pilates classes just after 8 weeks having a baby. My recovery was very fast and I don’t have any postnatal health issues. I am so thankful for the great fun classes, for my body feeling and the knowledge I’ve got. Thank you, Christine and the whole Form Body Lab team!Wiebke B.
