• I joined Jiujitsu a little on accident. I had never intended on joining, but if you know Poney, he’s not one for leaving anyone out. So here I am. As I read on online forums about women in Jiujitsu it has become very clear how special the Fighteria is. As a women, it’s important to feel respected and safe in a sport where your quarters are very close to men. Yet that is not something I even knew was important until reading the reviews from women discussing issues at their gym. I quickly learned that I never needed to know about the safety concerns in my journey beginning Jiujitsu simply because my gym offers a safe environment for women.
