If my hairs could convey their opinion after being sculpted by Wes at Fellow Barber, they would croon more attractively than Toni Braxton's husky drawl. Is there a more sought after sound than this heavenly intonation? Has my head ever been more aesthetically pleasing?
No. The answer is no. Thank you Wes! My head can not wait to be in your hands once again in the near future.

Easily the worst experience ever. I called to say I'm late and no one picked up the phone, when I arrived they didn't want to accept me and charged my card.

Thanks for the feedback, Mike. I am terribly sorry that this was the worst experience ever. Your barber had an appointment scheduled directly after yours, and would have been unable to complete your service when you arrived late. I understand this can be frustrating and disappointing. We do our best to keep to a schedule to ensure we can adequately service and accommodate all of our valued clients.

Very nice place with patio in the back if you have to wait. Friendly service and excellent product selection. Mark did an excellent job. Great style and conversation. The price seemed reasonable for the service and attention to details. I'll definitely be back.

Ugh. This one hits close to home. I've been going to FB since about 2014, both Crosby and Horatio locations. Michael and Rich and other barbers, I've know for quite some time. I have recommended the shop to many friends over the years.
Long story short, I moved out of nyc in 2016 and recently made a last minute booking at the Crosby location while in town. Most of the barbers I'm familiar with are no longer there so I booked to be cut by senior barber Luis Cedeno. I actually chose him because I vaguely remember seeing him at the shop from back in the days, and felt comfortable with it.
He was not very nice, actually rather rude and I didn't even have a chance to properly explain what I want as I am a new client of his. Only giving 3 stars here because of the history I have with this establishment. I def won't be coming back to Luis, who seems to be full of bad attitude and just unhappy. I also wouldn't suggest anyone who's new to FB to ever book with Luis.
And I know people have bad days, and I'm very understanding but Luis should know that he chose to work in a customer service oriented industry and should not be an asshole to customers.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Business owner information

LOVE this place! Have been to many barber shops over the years and haven't gone elsewhere since coming here. Go to Rita every single time and my hair always turns out great and she'll always extremely welcoming, fun, and professional

This was my first time at Fellow Barber and it was a GREAT experience! The clerk at the front of house was super friendly and put me at ease. Emily is a true creative artist, and gave me a an awesome cut that I received many compliments about! Thanks Emily! Thanks Fellow Barber!

I came here with my family and my dad, brother, and uncle all cut their hair for $45 each. The staff was friendly except for one lady that had pink hair at the front desk. She was rude and kept looking at us with a rude face. That's the only reason I'm giving this place 4 stars out of 5. They should have people that want to work here as staff. The hair cuts came out great.

Fellow Barber - NYC SOHO provides a great service ! Good quality haircut and trim in a comfortable environment. I would suggest complimentary craft cocktails and some cologne samples. Great job!

After following up on my bad experience and the miscommunication between the front of house and the barber, Fellow Barber gave my partner a new appointment. Everything was taken care of. I was told Jeremy was excellent both for hair and beard (tips too) and was good company during the whole experience as well. Glad to have had a great experience with this shop.

Feb 14, 2018Previous reviewI've had much better experiences at all other locations but this one was painfully disappointing.
I called the day off to see if they could squeeze my partner in, wonderful 2:00 works. I specifically asked if they could give him a few tips on mustache/ beard care the phone attendant was very nice and said totally. We arrived a few minutes earlier and the same phone attendant greeted us, I informed him I was the mustache tip person and we took a seat in the reception area.
My partner was taken in since this haircut was a gift I settled the bill as he was going to be in the chair for about 1 hour I went out for a coffee. *I paid $100.00 for a haircut and a shave (tip not included, barbers can only be tipped in cash)
When I returned the haircut looked great!
fade was on point and the scissor blending was delicious..... but his beard was exactly the same. The Barber just trimmed his mustache (he does the same himself for free) no tips on how to maintain, beard intact and barely touched up. my partner didn't know what services I had paid for so he couldn't say anything about them. I guess he thought it was just a beard trim and regular maintenance. overall pretty salty about the whole thing I didn't wanna spoil the gift on the spot but somewhere there was a miscommunication about what I had actually paid for, will not be returning to Wes' chair anytime, will not recommend this to any clients. save your $$$ go to the other locations or someplace else. - Rachel C.Brooklyn, NY315Aug 27, 2017
Yvette nailed my pixie cut, my first one ever!
My husband's been going to Andrea here for a while now and I quickly became her fan, as she seems to really understand his hair. When I decided to chop off my annoying and erratic long hair I thought Fellow Barber would be the right place to do this. I wanted to make sure it would be quick and painless without chickening out. Andrea recommended a couple of other stylists that would able to achieve the short feminine cut I was going for. I booked with Yvette who had the exact time and day I was looking for. It was a match made in heaven, as she totally nailed it. As the mane was coming off into short bangs and no more back side hair, Yvette and I were both getting excited as the results were coming to fruition. It was thrilling and so fun!!
