• I was able to get in right away (which I know is a rarity, but I still appreciated everything Lalitha did to get me scheduled so quickly!) My braider (Yana) was AMAZING-- she did excellent work, was easy to talk to and I felt extremely comfortable in her chair even after having really bad experiences at other shops -- something that typically makes it hard for me to trust during the first appointment with a new stylist. The atmosphere was welcoming and jovial, the music choices were fire, and most of all, I LOVED how evident it was on every single customer that I saw come in or leave the salon that they were having a nice, relaxing time and left feeling like a million bucks. It's a business, yes, but it's also women sincerely and happily supporting and uplifting other women in spirit AND esthetics. That's not easy to find even in a salon. The fact Envy Me is a space by women of color for women of color is also really special. I loved my experience and will definitely be back!
