On March 27, 2021 I got my hair cut and styled by Micky who did a great job. Not only did she listen to my ideas but built on those ideas and gave me a fabulous hair cut and style. She is highly skilled and I am so happy with my hair cut. I will be returning to her that is for sure. She is great.
The entire staff was great. Friendly and highly knowledgeable of the products on site.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Dec 28, 2020
My company gave me a gift cert. a while ago before they changed owners. I ventured in to see Allie for my hair after being with the same hair stylist for 15+ years. (The distance became too much) I haven't' looked back since. Allie is amazing at what she does and is friendly, sweet and professional. It never feels like forced small talk with her.
She always nails it with my color and cut, she is not a cutter who takes off too much either which I appreciate since I am trying to grow my hair out.
My only compliant, I hate the way that they do their scheduling. What if I change my mind and want to do more color or a foil during my appointment? The desk gal seems a little overbearing and was frustrated in my scheduling over the phone at one point.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Dec 5, 2018
Parking/Location: Just past Costco, look for Opus bank and they're in the building behind it on the 2nd floor. Plenty of parking.
Ambiance: Bright, clean, hip.
Service: Luda is beautiful, inside and out! I've lost most my hair because of breast cancer and finally decided to get a wig. Enrapture partners with the American Cancer Association to give out free wigs. Luda was so gentle and sweet and caring. I wouldn't have wanted anyone else to help me through getting my head shaved and picking out the right wig. She was very patient and kind. We even had fun picking out wigs. I plain brown everyday one, and also a blonde one when I want to pretend I'm a Kpop star :)
Enrapture doesn't get any $ for doing this, they're just doing this from the goodness of their heart. Thank you!!! When my hair grows back, this is the first place I'm going to get my haircut!
Recommendation: I'm going back, you should definitely give them a try!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Simone T.Seattle, WA13310Dec 29, 2017
I love Enrapture! Jessee is the best hair dresser. I have naturally curly hair and he's a pro at cutting it. I love this space. Everyone's super nice.
I recommend them to everyone I can!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0Business owner information

I received a message today from Jessee the owner asking me to delete my review, stating they bought the salon in 2017. His partner posted a similar comment but with the year 2016. I don't know when the salon changed hands & haven't been there since I wrote the review in 2015.
I don't delete my reviews because of a change of ownership. I update my reviews if I visit the business again.
I wish Jessee and his co-owner the best.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0Business owner information

Hi Sheri!
Thank you for taking the time to review us. The salon & spa was recently purchased as of Feb. 14, 2017. We truly value insights such as yours as a gift. We cannot fix things if we are unaware so "Thank you" for your insights they truly will help us evolve as a salon company moving forward.
Should you chose to give us another chance in the future I am sure you will find that we will exceed your expectations. Thank you again for taking the time to review.

Co OwnerJul 26, 2015Previous reviewMy boyfriend gave me a gift card to Enrapture, so I came in for a haircut. I was given a young lady who was over-the-top in her flattery and it made everyone within earshot uncomfortable, especially me. The cut was fine, thank goodness, so no complaints there.
I came in two other times and tried a different stylist each time. The second one couldn't understand what I wanted even with pictures and a more senior stylist coming over to tutor her as well. I was asking for a Betty Davis look, nothing complicated at all. The final time I came in, the third different stylist was great. She was down to earth, not phony, and knew what she was doing. I've moved and now go elsewhere or I would have built a relationship with her.
On the second visit here, I was told that they all go to NYC and get taught the latest styles but 1 out of 3 stylists knowing how to do hair is a bad ratio. - April G.Montebello, CA8107Apr 18, 2022
I wanted to like this place I really did. My stylist was Emily. She was very nice and I wanted to like her. This was my first visit with what would have been my new stylist since my move. My last stylist I had seen for 8 years and I always loved the way she cut and colored my hair. Clearly there was trust. Initially I called asking if there was any stylist most experienced cutting short hair because I specifically asked for an A line bob. Straight away I was told Emily was my girl and so I said awesome then I'll book with her. When my appointment came she was running late and so she saw me a little past my appointment time. I am quite used to this as my last stylist was also very busy and of course I never minded waiting because I knew in the end it would be worth the while. Emily was very nice , asked me questions as to how I wanted my hair and we agreed on a photo that she herself look up. I've had my hair cut this style before but unfortunately I didn't have decent photos of myself to reference but she seemed to understand what I wanted. I understand that every stylist's technique is different to accomplish even the same styled cut but even her first cut and use of the scissors worried me. It felt too blunt and aggressive like she was just chop chop chopping away. Initially I thought it was just nerves because it was my first time cutting it with someone new and so I tried to relax. When she showed me what the length was I was disappointed. She cut it shorter than I had wanted. But even then I said as long as she gets the style right im ok with the length and I would have just dealt with the length. I specifically didn't want to go too short in case I didn't like it this way I could have something to work with and give the second try a chance. She apologized for the shorter than anticipated length and kept cutting. I was beginning to worry how the overall style was coming out because I couldn't see what was happening and the tiniest bit I could see in my side view it didn't seem like it was coming out like I wanted. So the final reveal of it was terrible. It was nothing what I had wanted and nothing like the photo. So why reference a photo ? It doesn't even look similar. She could see how upset I was and said "let me straighten it" as if the blow dry wouldn't tell me enough or wasn't sufficient enough to tell me that it wasn't what it was supposed to be. Very nicely she tried to remedy the situation, gave my a couple options but, unfortunately things can't be undone. I decided not continue the cut because at this point I didn't think she could accomplish what I wanted and it would mean MORE length off. Long story short I hate my hair. I wanted an A line bob and walked out with a Dora the Explorer haircut. I have to try hard to style it. Unfortunately, there's nothing else to do other than wait for it to grow so that I can cut it again. So I'm just hoping it grows fast. For next time, I'm considering planing a trip to LA just to cut it with my old stylist. Emily gets an A for effort and customer service but sadly her talents won't have me returning here. Long story long, I do not recommend Enrapture Salon. I recommend extensively doing your research on your stylist because even then it a risk.

Sadly, I am removing my 5-star review for Jesse's Enrapture Salon and reducing it to 1-star (less if I could). I had been a customer of Jesse's for close to 15 years and kept going to the salon after he left because I believed in the salon he started. I tried to schedule a full foil with Emily, but was told she wasn't available and was given an appointment with a so-called platinum stylist named Nikki. For the avoidance of doubt, I went in with a photo and a professional stylist's description of how to achieve the color in the photo that I wanted (foils with low-lights on my natural level 8 blonde hair). I left looking nothing like the photo with hair darker than it was when I went in. After I left I saw myself in the mirror in a store and looked so terrible that I was embarrassed and had to go home. I called the salon and very nicely explained that I did not get what I paid $350 for. They had me come back in and again I showed the same picture with the same description and Nikki added more foils. And again I left with darker hair that looked nothing like the photo. I called the manager and explained that I did not get what I paid for with the service provided by Nikki. She offered to have me come back in so that it could be done again, but it would be at my full cost. I am not rich and had saved a long time to get my hair done. This cost me a fortune, it looked horrible and it looked nothing like the picture (which both Nikki and the manager agreed with). There was never any apology or any good reason given as to why my hair did not look like the photo. I've had this same service at other salons done with no problem. I feel like I was ripped off, taken advantage of and I am tempted to take them to court to get my money back. Do not go here.

I love this place. Everyone is so nice and I have a friend that told me about Nikki and I've been going back ever since.
She is great, she listens to what you what, she almost has the mentality "measure twice, cut once" :-) I absolutely love her.
Last time I was there I ended up doing something more out there for me and I'm SO happy with the new hair. I've gotten so many compliments!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Business owner information

This review is regarding a donation cut. I found this salon from the Wigs for Kids site as an affiliate salon. Saw reviews here regarding wig fittings, so I decided to make an appointment.
I'd been growing my hair for 3 years, and I'd had long hair all my life so I was pretty nervous going in. The stylists at Enrapture were really nice and helped me calm down--they went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. They were just as excited for my donation, as if it were their own. I know it's just hair, and my hair grows back (abundantly, may I add), but donating over 20 inches was a big deal to me! The entire time i felt like I was in good hands, and I felt well taken care of.
In regards to the haircut, I love it. Nikki was my stylist. I brought in pictures off my image board, and she was really good at interpreting what I wanted. Apparently it was face framing, some layers, and I don't know the technical term for it, but she did the ends really well and it gives me a bit of volume and poof by my ends--I absolutely love it. I don't have to style it in the mornings, it just has a good natural volume achieved by a skilled stylist. (My hair is pin straight, so it was definitely something she did). Nikki also took the time to explain how I could style it a variety of ways and made my transition into the short hair life seamless. I love it.
Theyre the closest salon from Seattle that does cuts for Wigs for Kids, it's well worth the trip out. These guys are they're donating their facilities, time, and expertise to support a good cause. Kudos.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Diana D.Lynnwood, WA0411May 26, 2019
This is honestly the best salon ever. If you're looking for an amazing salon and the best stylist in the area go see Jen (Jennifer). Have never been disappointed, been here several times as well as my younger sister! Not only are the people here amazing but the stylists listen to what you want, will always give it 200% and go above and beyond. I am so pleased with not just color, haircut, but stylist. Jen you're the best!!! Would definitely recommend anyone and everyone to visit, this is the spot! Check out their app and Groupon for good deals too!
