Ella Bliss Beauty Bar

I've contacted a local journalist who can (possibly) help with this situation (Doubtful of the funds), but at least the public can know what this business did to customers. Staff members, I would appreciate it if you could voice your side of this situation.

Unsure what to do or where to go about this. I was part of the Ella Bliss membership and had multiple gift cards (totaling about $300), and I had my membership on hold from September to December due to traveling. I tried calling this week, but the number is disconnected; the website no longer exists.

I am disappointed with the company closing with no warning to those who invested their money to the membership and gift cards. I just filed a complaint for this business on the CO attorney general of website under "Products and Services." Please do the same if you are in the same boat as me so we can get our money back!

Jin did a FANTASTIC JOB

I would highly recommend this salon and next time I'm going to ask for Jin again.

Not worth the price and pushy sales... nails were super thick and lumpy

I came here to get my nails done before vacation. I had a gift card to use, so I booked a shellac mani with foundation gel. When I arrived, I was greeted by a very friendly dude at the counter. Since it was my first time, he offered me a drink.

When I got set up with my nail lady, she mentioned that she wasn't trained in foundation gel. Okay no problem. I feel like the nails tech rushed the entire time and did a very mediocre job. My nails came out super thick and lumpy. This was fine, she was nice and got the job done and I had to use my gift card.

What really annoyed me was the pushy sales dude at the counter when I left. This was not the same guy who offered me a drink. After I left a tip on the tablet, he kept pushing me to sign up for a membership. I told him that I wasn't interested and he kept pushing, very rudely asking me what was preventing me from signing up that day. I didn't want to be rude and tell him straight up that the nails weren't done well, so I said something along the lines of "let me go home and think about it." That wasn't enough and he kept pushing and asked me if money was an issue in a very condescending manner. I ended up just saying good bye and walking out. The last time I experienced something similar was a timeshare presentation in Mexico.

If anyone sees this and has advice, I am all ears! I was part of the Ella Bliss membership program and had hundreds of dollars of balance left with them and I just found out as I tried to call and book an appointment that they're closed. No one contacted me and as far as I am aware there's no way to get my money back. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Have returned since first visit since service was really easy and shellac lasted forever! Thank you to Alexandra.

I'm extremely disappointed. A friend bought me a $150 gift card about a month ago and now they're closed. It really sucks that they were continuing to sell gift cards when they probably knew there was a good chance they would be closing soon.

The Highlands Ranch location is much better. I got here and I was less than 10 minute late. I I booked an appointment for a brow wax and pedicure. They give 15 mins for the wax but because I was a bit late the lady has to rush though my brows and was only able to do a couple strips and no tweezing. This was fine, I was late so my bad EXCEPT, they rushed me through all that saying the person doing my pedicure has a client after me which would now be late because I was late. I still had to wait for 15 minutes after my rushed eyebrow wax. They could have easily finished my eyebrows if they knew the person doing my pedicure was still working on the previous customer.

By the time I got my pedicure the lady seemed extremely rushed and was filing my toe nails so fast and hard that she filed missed my nail and filed the skin on my toe and caused it to bleed.

The pedicure experience was just average. The lady doing my eyebrows was super nice and did a good job with what little time she had.

Ella Bliss closed with no warning, and I have hundreds of dollars in membership funds. Is there anyone I can contact?

I was looking for a new place to take my young niece for mani and pedis and selected Ella Bliss because of their Little Miss Bliss package. The location is nice, with inviting decor. They did a nice job setting up a little station for my niece and taking great care of her (no complaints there!)

I was not overall impressed with the service I received, especially at the price. Additionally, my nieces polish started peeling off within 2 hours. I don't know if this is typical with young children's nails?

We had a pretty early appointment, so there were not a lot of people there at the time which made the conversations the employees were having about weekend plans/partying/homeless people a stark contrast to a relaxing spa experience. On top of that, they decided to offer me their monthly subscription plan mid for massage. Would have preferred that the sales pitched wait until I was at least finished.
