Our workout method

E-Pulsive is a personal training evolution that harnesses the transformative power of EMS. Our 20-minute sessions will help you reach your target body shape with as little effort and time as possible.

What is EMS?

EMS is short for Electrical Muscle Stimulation. It works by sending low-frequency electric impulses to manually contract your muscle fibres while you exercise, increasing the intensity of your workout.

Benefits of EMS training

Celebrities, athletes and fashion models all use EMS training to help them stay in shape – here’s why:

Save time

Too busy to exercise? A 20-minute EMS workout can offer the same results as a 90-minute high-intensity gym class. It is enough to do one or two weekly sessions which can also be added to your existing workout routine.

Endorsed by science

EMS is scientifically proven to be effective and safe by reputable sports institutions, and has been used by doctors, health clinics, physiotherapists and professional athletes for more than 50 years around the world.

Target all areas

E-Pulsive workouts engage up to 98% of your muscles, compared to the 60% you might use in the gym, and burn up to 500kcal in just 20 minutes. Low-impact exercises ensure minimum stress on shoulders, back and knees.

Reach your fitness goals

All sessions are led by highly experienced personal trainers that tailor each workout to your goals. If combined with a healthy lifestyle, noticeable results can be seen after only four sessions.

Weight loss

The number of calories your body requires each day is largely determined by your metabolism and how much activity you do. With age, our metabolic rate slows down, and we gain fat more easily – but studies show our cardio workout can increase your metabolism by building lean muscle, so that your body burns an additional 300-500kcal per day.

Radiant skin

Many E-Pulsive clients also notice an improvement in their skin tone – a higher metabolism promotes fat loss and can reduce the appearance of cellulite.

Toned muscles

The highly personalised nature of an E-Pulsive workout means that, depending on your goals, you can either gain muscle mass to appear stronger or reduce your overall size to achieve a toned silhouette. Hand weights and TRX bands can be added to the workout to increase its intensity.

Rehabilitation

If you’re suffering from back or knee pain and have been unable to do conventional workouts, EMS training can help you treat existing issues, build strength and prevent future injuries. Your trainer will guide you through simple movements to ensure minimal impact on your joints.
