• Due to Richard's constant vigilance, the service at Dean's is exceptional. The staff are kind and oh so accommodating. They offer to get you anything you might need or want. I am always impressed by the quality of service at Dean's. I've been going there for 7 years.

• I cannot stop raving about my haircut with Richard, almost two weeks later. My experience with Richard was unlike any I've had before. I have thick, wavy hair which requires sculpting to look presentable. I had an idea of what I wanted based on pictures from Pinterest, which is how I've done every other haircut that I've had, regardless of the stylist or salon. My experience at Dean of Shadyside was unlike any that I've had in Pittsburgh, or anywhere else. I'm a transplant to Pittsburgh and have tried every other salon here, and have left each time unimpressed. I had to push my appointment up due to a last minute photoshoot, and everyone was extremely accommodating. Richard was warm, and greeted me right away. He spoke with me about how I generally treat my hair. He then talked to me about my style, and how adventurous I was willing to be having just met him. I gave him full reign and ended up with the best haircut I've ever had. He's certainly a master stylist, I'd recommend him and Dean of Shadyside to anyone!
