• I got my hair done on my birthday by Gracie, back in May. Afterwards, I decided to treat myself and get my nails done next door. Unfortunately this was the day the nail salon was robbed at gun point, just after I had sat down. Needless to say, I've been extremely hesitant/nervous to go many places--but especially anywhere near the nail salon. Yesterday, after 3 months of talking myself through getting out and about (and my roots to the point of embarrassment🤦‍♀️), I decided it was time. Not only did Gracie do a fantastic job with my hot mess hair, she made my experience a lot less uncomfortable than I had expected. To top it off, she even stood outside to make sure I made it to my car safely afterwards! I really needed to experience this much kindness, in this scary world.
