• I recently took Liethis Congo(Palo) class online through zoom! Its beautiful to be able to connect from coast to coast in this way and to be able to continue to learn from such great teachers. Much respect! My experience every time I've had the opportunity to visit Cumbe during my trips to New York has been a welcoming one. And I feel that same welcoming and warm energy through the virtual world.

• Fun even thru Zoom, learned history of specific West African dance style along with the dance itself, sweat a lot (which is the goal), good sequence from warm up to teaching steps to putting it together to cool down

• I really enjoyed the class. I loved how the Liethis broke down the steps and showed it to us from different angles and then had us show her the steps so she could confirm we got them. I also really liked how she engaged us around the culture and meaning behind what we were doing. Thanks for the great class!
