• I was an avid West African dance class student in the late 90s to early 2000s. Classes were serious, informed, energetic and a place of reconnection to African rooted spirituality with reminders to tune back into the wellness of my body that is specifically Black and African. Cumbe's Sabar class feels like home in that way.
