Cryotherapy is delivered in the form localized cold air treatments. Cold Therapy "Cryotherapy" is an age-old modality for the treatment of pain and inflammation. The therapy is widely used in Europe and other parts of the world for peak performance training, recovery from sports-related injury and fatigue, and certain medical conditions associated with pain and inflammatory symptoms. The chambers we use generate extremely cold temperatures. Exposure to dry air for a very short duration can result in short and long term cessation of pain, decrease inflammation, and improve general wellness. Cryotherapy Jax was such a fun experience. Besides freezing my tushy off, I really enjoyed the experience. I believe you're in the chamber for about 3 minutes where you walk around in a circle in the chamber.
Initially, it's a shock to the body, but the assistant talked and distracts you to the point that you don't think about being cold. They also have an Alexa in the room so you can play your favorite music while in the chamber.
I also tried the normatec which felt amazing . It squeezes your body and feels like your getting a great stretch to your body. You can do your arms, hip, or legs. I choice to do the hips and arms. You have an option to increase the pressure if you ask.
Finally, I also tried the cold facial. It basically was just cold air blowing on your face. I didn't see any improvement. Maybe a few pore closed on my face. Not sure.
The prices were reasonable. They had an introductory promotion that was pretty good in trying. This would be a cool idea for a party.

The staff was very informative, friendly and made me feel at home! When using the Normatec, I had the option of sitting in a 'TV room' or a quiet room to relax. Also, the recliners that they put you in are extremely comfortable and I easily could have fallen asleep haha. I highly recommend trying this out!!

After a single session with Maria, I knew it was helping, and after 3 sessions of cryotherapy and Nordic compression I am nearly 100% pain-free! Been traveling and golfing like normal again, and I have to acknowledge Cyrotherapy Jax helped make that happen! Will be returning frequently!
