  • Great instructor!
  • I had a much better experience at the front desk than usual—much more pleasant & friendly than the flat & uninterested reception that I have received in past years. That’s part of the reason that I have avoided going to CRC the last few years. This time I tried the Drums Alive class, which I have never done before. I really enjoyed it. Emily was the substitute teacher my first day. Surprisingly, I was the only person who came that day. She taught the class regardless of it just being me & her, which I really appreciated. Then I came again today. She taught the first half & Jodi the second half. Both have their respective strengths. I especially liked the enthusiasm that Jodi radiated & the choreography that she guided us in. I wish you would offer the Drums Alive class 3x/week, with one of the classes being a “Drums Alive Cardio” to appeal to participants of all ages, not just seniors. The class can be adapted for a range of abilities as currently taught. However, I think there is a lot of value drawing in adults that enjoy a faster pace than many of the seniors who attend it. By doing a separate additional Drums Alive faster paced class you may have participants come who otherwise wouldn’t attend a class that they think is mostly for older grandparents. Also, I’d like to see the Tai Chi class on a different day than Drums Alive. It seems to draw in much of the same demographic as Drums Alive. When they are the same day, & especially back-to-back classes, participants are left to choose one or the other. On different days they could more easily choose both.
