Cloud 9 Spa Salon

My go-to Spa! I am truly the Queen of Self Care. I love a great facial, massage, body wrap, all of that! I take a lot of pride in my skin and have been focusing on it more and more over the years, but I'm no pro. So this is the location that assists in making my Fountain of Youth flow smoothly!

The ambiance is beyond amazing. The sounds of flowing water, the smell of the beautiful bath bomb display or variety of lotions and soaps will have anyone feeling relaxed upon entry. It's so funny to me, because I can't recall a time that I've ever been in Cloud 9 and even heard one of the employees raise her voice in even laughter lol. Not to say they are meek at all, but so soothing and focused on the relaxation it's awesome. I wonder if that's a part of the role, softly speaking to not heighten any pressure? Hmm. Either way! Lol the young ladies at the front are so helpful and sweet!

They offer an area that allows you to change into your provided robe & slippers, shower if you please and lock up your belongings. I love that the instructions to lock the lockers is told to you twice and listed on the side because I just knew I was going to be locked out lol

After changing and putting away your things, you walk over to a relaxing room that is fitted with tea, cocoa, water and snacks - nice! I was lucky enough to have my Signature Facial completed by the wonderful Nishi this time and in the past, Kim has done my facial and chemical peel. Both women are SO professional and kind! I found myself drifting off a few times during my recent Signature Facial with Nishi, as I was TOO relaxed! Lol

I can't say enough about Cloud 9! I'm so excited to continue my services there and can't wait to return :)

If I could give this place -5 stars I would. Spend your hard earned monies elsewhere. The "manager" Donna called to ask me what went wrong with my services $335.00 btw). I gave her some constructive feedback and all she did was state that they have won awards and people love them. Bullet points only cuz if I stated it all one would loose interest

Robes are a joke so is their "snack" bar (don't even offer spa water).
Dressing rooms are too small
Spa was very cold
No magnifying light for face extraction (don't do eyebrow cleanup)
Pedicure was the worst (daughter said) polish was off in 3 days

I understand why you are deflecting. I believe people in the service industry have forgotten that they are in that industry. In case you or someone else missed my point. The only reason I have reviews on yelp is to help the hard working person spend their hard earned cash where they anticipate getting said service. Cloud 9, I believe does not provide what it states it does and people should know that.

Love coming here! Prices are very reasonable and I've always had a great experience, mainly with massages. I've received a facial but it took forever to get an appointment and was just okay, I'd come back for one because I haven't had a comparable one in the area (I usually drive home 2.5 hours for facials). I've been coming here since I moved to Gainesville about 3 years ago but just this week the service I received was so awesome I just had to come shout out Ashley H! I received a signature massage from her but I workout so I get massages to help my muscles (however, the deep tissue massage about killed me) and she was FANTASTIC she talked just the right amount but didn't bug me while I was relaxing and made the entire experience perfect


Also, bonus points for the hot chocolate and french vanilla cappuccino mix while you wait, it's such a cute touch and I look forward to it every time I book an appointment.

I saw some reviews about the front desk being snotty but I've had pleasant interactions with everyone via phone and in person.

I have gone to Gwen Langenburg for more than a decade. She is excellent at deep tissue massage. Great customer service and a true professional in her field.
I would like to recommend Michelle Pendarvis for mani/pedi treatments. Michelle has a great eye for color and is an excellent tech with unsurpassed customer service skills. What a treat! I have had this opportunity to utilize Michelle's skill set for the last several years.

My sister bought me a sports pedicure and an 80-minute massage for my birthday at Cloud 9. Both services were awesome! Karen made my so much better, and made an effort to get to know me. We connected on a few different things both being from the Tallahassee area! I'll definitely be back to cloud 9!

Great service call to see if open during virus C. All services great,but most require closer to 6 ft. so you may have to wait for an appointment. I was tired of trying make brows thicker and was pleased with new look and very painless and now look ma rhrbtowd

I really like Cloud 9. They have excellent massages and facials. The atmosphere there is very relaxing. You always get free tea or hot cocoa and snacks. All the therapists I've seen have been professional and diligent. The only thing that hasn't been stellar is the nail services.

I have never thought of giving this spa a 1. I am late in writing this review, but it has caused me to not return. I would give them a 4 for massages, 4 for environment, 0 for pedicure, 1 for facial, 3 for manicure. Do not get a pedicure here. The technician did not seem to want to give me a pedicure, the chair was Horrible! It was loud and uncomfortable. They do not give you a foot soak there is no tub! Maybe for hygiene purposes, however there are ways to use a tub and stay hygienic, it was not relaxing, hardly any massage, very awkward only having feet cleaned and wiped by steamed towels! My polish lasted 4 days.
Facial, lady ( blonde hair) used very fast strokes, should be slow. no neck message, not near as many applications and was also not relaxing.. need to send your estheticians for an undercover facial at spa royale

Will only use for massage. It is a shame. It is such awesome place.

I've been coming to cloud 9 since they opened. I've enjoyed every massage I've had. I had a hot stone yesterday that was beyond relaxing. We did a couples massage in their shared suite. The massage therapist are top notch. I look forward to my massages there.
They do need to get longer robes for men. My husband is 6'2" and the robe didn't cover his boxers when he sat down. It was very awkward for him.
The waiting lounge uses to have much more comfortable welcoming seating, but it still relaxing.
Overall I can't wait to go back.

Had a wonderful experience today from the time I walked in, until the time I walked out.
The 50 minute Signature Massage was so great that I went ahead and scheduled for 110 minutes in a couple of weeks with Ashley.
