Citrine Salon Bethesda

I want to retract my last review of the services I received at Citrine salon. it was a miscommunication on my part. The cost included 2 products that I forgot I purchased.
I guess the best way to express my regret is to say "I'm going back today for the same services"
The staff and owner at the salon go out of their way to put the clients needs first. Gain I apologize!

I was looking to achieve my natural look with a little bit of polish for a party. I'm sure Jacquelyn had the best intentions. I showed pictures of what I was looking for however the results were very disappointing. She tried to fix it by using a curling iron, but it just didn't work out. It was so unsatisfactory, I retuned to my hotel and washed and styled my hair before my party. I will not be returning; her skill set and technique does not align with my personal style.

This review is DEFINITELY late. My appointment was Aug 25 @ 2pm. Yes late.

First of all the name of the salon is not "Citrine Salon Bethesda". It says Salon Gerard in google map.

This review is for Salon Gerard (5001 WILSON LANE, BETHESDA MD 20814).

I did not know who to request for an appointment. All I know is the online scheduling is a plus. I don't like calling to set up an appointment because I have to constantly spell my last name; ugghh. The online feature makes scheduling a breeze!

Based on availability, I scheduled my appointment with Jacquelyn Edmondson. WOW. I am glad she was available. I was specific with what I wanted. I had pictures to show her and even told her I had a round face. I am glad she was my stylist BECAUSE she informed me that her training was on a specific cut. Turns out that specific cut is well suited for those with round face AND what I wanted! It is the only cut I know that suits me. She gave me tips on blow drying, styling, AND walked me through the cut she was doing!

This is the haircut I want. I will be traveling again so not sure when I will be coming back. I'll reach out to Jacquelyn again see what her schedule is like in the new year.

Patricia is lovely -- she's been doing my hair (cut, color, Brazilian blowout) for many years and it's always such a nice, relaxing experience. She's very caring and makes sure I'm always happy.

Jacquelyn is amazing!! I've been seeing her for years for cut and color, and she does a wonderful job every time. She cares so much about her clients and is a total perfectionist---I trust her advice on my hair completely. When I scheduled my engagement photos, I based it around Jacquelyn's availability, which I think says it all!

Love the vibe of shop overall. Love my stylist Jacquelyn. She made me look awesome. Always knows just what to do and how to make my blonde pop. No one else has been able to make my blonde look

My family and I have been cutting our hair with Debora for several years. She is not only a great stylist, but also a really nice person who always makes you feel welcome and listens to your preferences. I really look forward to my appointments with her!

Jacquelyn is the best! I've been going to her for a few years and love her cut and color (blond balayage), it's always so good!!

Absolutely fantastic salon. Roxanna is a hair genius, I've referred friends and we all love her. The owner, Patricia, is so kind and also amazing. The salon is beautiful and they have always done an incredible job. Everyone is friendly and the prices are super reasonable. Cannot recommend highly enough.
