I treasure the welcoming community that I found at Citizen and also the great diversity of teaching styles and classes that CYPC offers. The focus on philosophy and the practice of yoga beyond asana was very important to me in choosing a studio. I am really happy that CPYC has its own online bookings now and hope that even more classes can be added there if possible. I personally am not comfortable returning to studio practice yet. Overall, the online offerings have been running well from a technology/accessibility standpoint and I also think the online pricing is very reasonable for the quality and variety of classes being offered. The greatest challenge during this time for me has been some of the turbulence and lack of communication around hiring and changes in management in Cleveland. I know some of those feelings are heightened by quarantine but also think that where a business model is focused on community, it's important to be communicative about / announce changes where possible to your customers/clients. But I love Citizen and have been excited to be able to recommend it now to friends who don't live near a studio!
