In the simplest of terms, Thai massage is a combination of yoga stretching, pressure point, deep tissue, and traditional relaxation massage. Chaan's clients have a wide range of options to select & combine treatments - from the traditional to luxurious heated herbal compress, hot stone and reflexology. The staff are all highly skilled and trained in their native Thailand - many being graduates of Wat Pho, recognized as the preeminent school for Thai Massage. Massage is as much about wellness as it is about stress and pain relief. Recognizing this, Chaan has taken into account today's economic climate and people's needs to continue to take care of themselves-offering pricing programs that keep wellness & stress management within everyone's budgets. I love this place! I typically go for the back and shoulder massage (my fave), but all of the massages are wonderful! The ladies that I have had do not disappoint! They can work stress out of places I didn't even know I had. You will get some stretching done as well. That is the difference in Thai massages, in my opinion. Love, love, love this place. A bit more expensive, but very worth it.

Great massage nice setting!
Had a deep tissue massage today with Jenny. She quickly found my trouble spots and worked them out.
I will definitely be coming back!!

Salin is a true pro. She can give the standard Thai massage but if you have a trouble area she will make sure to devote extra time to work that out. I have been numerous times and never had a bad experience and I have used multiple massage therapists. Though now I stick with Salin.

Arada gave me a 1 1/2 hour hot herbal ball massage. This is not just relaxation, it is true body work and healing therapy. Just what I needed on a damp chilly day. Thank you!

Sep 2, 2021Previous reviewEvery time I enjoy an anti stress-massage, I tell myself I should come more often. Chaan Thai makes that easier to do with their 5 and 10 massage packages. Their deep tissue and acupressure techniques are amazingly effective in releasing tension and bringing me back into alignment. A total mind/body experience. Don't hesitate. Book soon!

Long hours at the computer leave me with lots of knots in my shoulders and a stiff neck, but after an hour at Chaan Thai, I am new (and young and flexible) again. My husband also enjoys the Thai floor massage - this is the only place we come back to again and again. Pleasant and accommodating staff. They have always maintained a clean environment and are taking extra care now with the COVID precautions. We will be back regularly! Thank you Kaow and Jun!

Today it was Anusa who took care of me; she knew exactly what I needed. The relaxation time afterward is a pleasant way to come back to the real world! Khaawp Khun Kha!
Aug 8, 2017Previous reviewMy husband and I have been coming to Chaan Thai Yoga Massage for over 3 yrs now and have introduced 5 or 6 of our friends - all have enjoyed wonderful experiences with the qualified professionals here. Thai massage is therapeutic adjustment and body work with a goal of relaxation and well being. With multiple types of massage available, we are always able to find the relief we need, whether it is recovery from a 10 hour plane ride or sitting too long at the computer. We highly recommend signing up for the series. You won't regret it!

I'm so glad to find a new place that does excellent massages!!!
When you come into the establishment, you are directed to take off your shoes and wear their slides. Then you are taken to the area where you get your feet washed and it feels so good! You are also given a complimentary hot green tea.
I get the 2 hour Anti-Stress Therapy Massage. They work every area. Arada was very good and I left feeling so relaxed! They do a stretch at the end of the massage.
The staff is super friendly and makes sure you are taken care of.
If you sign up, they always send you coupons!
This is located in the same area of the Mosaic District around the corner from Sweetwater Tavern. They have free surface parking but their sign directs you to park in the designated spots to avoid towing.
I come here monthly!

If you want a therapeutic massage to wring all tightness and unfurl knotted muscle then you will be supremely rewarded. Despite the possible shut down, I scheduled yet another massage because I value my health and wellness and was determined to make it work. Kaow is a tiny old lady with a sweet demenor - don't let that fool you - she strong! I highly recommend this place!

Aug 28, 2016Previous reviewTukta was bar none, exemplary! She really kneads out those knots until you feel as if you can do an yoga pose without discomfort! I went it because of plantar fasciitis which causes difficulty walking the day after and pain during my runs. She really listened to my needs and got me to where I need to be - ready for my next run!
I was so impressed that I booked three weeks in a row!

Will keep it short - if you want to get healed - go see TANWA - a magical therapist who has healed my bad back after trying chiro, acupuncture and everything else out there.
