Brazil's Waxing Center

I've been with Brazils since their existence in TLH, I've been with Sara and others. I like the package deals they offer with being a member. I get the Brazilian, legs and belly strip. I like the training of the girls post Sara for the most part. I'm particular about my wax--no stray hairs, smooth finishes needed--a good tip depends on it :).

All of their care products are made on-house and are quality. In the summer, I'm every three weeks, winter, once a month. I'm a fan.

The only reason I'm giving 3 stars and not 1 is because I have never had a bad experience receiving waxing services at Brazils before today. In contrast, I have always had a positive experience; the staff is always very cordial, there's always amazing R&B music playing, and my eyebrows always come out flawless.

Today, I went to Brazils for my usual (a mere brow clean up, something I hope most if not all estheticians are familiar with). The staff was still welcoming, but there was no music playing in the room I was in; I didn't mind at all. I was relaxed and comfortable with my esthetician, Danielle; however, when she held up the mirror to show me my eyebrows I tried to hold back tears. My beloved thick eyebrows had been thinned out to look like Pamela Anderson's, this new shape is giving 90s, Y2K & just all the things I didn't ask for. To me, a brow clean up is when you remove stray hairs along the natural shape of one's eyebrows NOT reshaping the eyebrows completely. Although I'm sure Danielle meant well and was pleased with her work, I'm just not at all feeling this look. I have purchased Castor oil and a brow pen to temporarily fix this mess.

The point of this review is that it is important to note the difference between brow shaping and brow clean ups. Don't shape my eyebrows unless I specifically ask!!!

Service was quick. Danni is the best tech ever. The facility was clean and the check in process was easy. I'm will be rebooking with Danni.

The staff makes you feel comfortable. No shame here. You are given a cover for your legs and everything is made to make you comfortable. You may wish to take an Advil before your appointment.

FYI. This was my first Brazilian wax. I had a mountain of fear including my Vajayjay falling off. But seriously, the discomfort came and left in an instant. Thyra was amazing, I highly recommend, Thyra as she made me feel extremely comfortable.

Costas you a always professional and personable. Never a bad wax job or conversation.

Was not satisfied with my eyebrow wax AT ALL. Specifically asked her to please keep my eyebrows thick and she replied with "that's what a eyebrow clean up is" and proceeds to leave me with very thin eyebrows that took months to grow. Felt rushed since I was the last customer of the day which would explain the very bad eyebrow wax.

Booked my first time client wax with them two days in advance when their website showed plenty of openings. They called me less than 24 hours before the actual appointment time to let me know the system had double booked and that the time I confirmed was not available. What is the point of an online appointment booking system if I cannot actually have the peace of mind to reserve my time on it?

The person who called me to inform me of the "double booking" and that my appointment time would not be honored was rude and unprofessional. Refused to try to honor my other requests as well. It was supposed to be my first time coming in but will never come here again

Jessica was amazing! So fast, efficient, and friendly. It was my first time at Brazil's and I felt like I already knew her and she was my bestie LOL! Can't wait to come back and see her. Thanks so much Jessica!

I had my first experience today with Brazil's. Joclyn was great. Very patient and if you've never had your nose wax it is something everyone needs to do. You will breathe so much better. The whole staff here was very kind and service was amazing. We will be back!
