Michelle worked me in today and is my new hero!!
After a really bad color job at a different salon I needed help ...and fast.
She solved the issue with very dark color that was stark black and took me back to a more natural color and much easier on the eyes.
I highly recommend her!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Jenna W.SoMa, San Francisco, CA021Apr 19, 2024
Sad to write this review but feel others should be aware. I have been going here a couple years for hair cuts and never had any issues until I decided to lighten my hair. This picture is what I got and it was taken after my second appointment after I asked her to fix the line(obviously not fixed). I was told she couldn't see it and "too bad it's not on the back of your head so you wouldn't notice." She told me she would fix it, but didn't and was pretty rude to me my whole appointment. She then said she could add an extra 15 min to my next appointment 8 weeks later to fix it. I have lost all trust in this salon and decided to go somewhere else to have it fixed. It took my new stylist 4 hours to correct all the mistakes as there were more lines that I just couldn't see. It also ended up costing significantly less than what I paid here and looks so much better now.

I went in with virgin hair with no natural gray. I requested balayage with some brighter parts around the face and no bleach on the roots at all. Instead I got a full head of foil highlights that left me with chunky orange and gray stripes from root to tip. The temples are straight silver blue and look exactly like natural grey streaks. I also asked for a face framing layered cut, but ended up with a bi-level chop that took literally 60 seconds.
I paid $250 plus tip but did not ask them to stay in that budget, that's just what they charged, so this wasn't from me being too cheap for a quality service.
The only thing nice I can say is that they did a great job styling my natural curls, which is why I didn't take in the full extent of the bad highlights until I got home.
I don't know if they'd be responsive to feedback. I have not asked for them to fix it because frankly my hair is already crispy and I'm afraid to let them touch it again.
Photos are immediately before, immediately after, and the next day.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Lo W.Memphis, TN0175Mar 6, 2024Updated review
I made a post on Facebook yesterday looking for someone to highlight my blonde hair after multiple stylists have messed it up. All sorts of people got tagged, and someone from Bombshells reacted out to me. I stated how someone from Bombshells royally messed my hair up and then treated me poorly after, and they replied on the post that they felt awful about my experience, how they have fired a lot of people, and would love the opportunity to redeem themselves - to show they're a "five star salon" and "make it right". They asked my name in the system, and when I replied with my name and who my stylist was, they deleted all their comments from my post...aka their offer. Not that I would've everrrr returned to a place who treated me so badly when I had returned the day after my appt to discuss them fixing my hair, (which they didn't) but I'm just shaking my head at how I've had yet another tacky customer service interaction from this establishment. So. Since they wanted to know what went wrong at my first appointment and apparently forgot who I am, here's a reminder to whoever contacted me from the salon, of what Bri did to my hair during a "full highlight" about 9 months ago. Awful hair service and horrible customer service afterwards, which I just got a nice refresher of. I should've read the yelp reviews first, I wouldn't have ever gone there.
Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Jun 21, 2023Previous reviewPretty disappointing that I'm writing this review, I really wanted to like this place. I saw some concerning reviews but thought I would give it a shot. I'm leaving the stylists name out of this because she's a very nice girl, but I'm extremely let down by this service. I just needed a full highlight and a trim. The highlights are awful. They're anywhere from a 1/2 inch to 3" away from my scalp. There are thick solid lines, some are horizontal and some are just all over the place. I stopped in to talk to the stylist, and they said theres no avoiding it lookin that way, it's not their fault and that every hair dresser has a different style and this is just theirs. Like...what? This isn't a "style", this is just bad. I was told they didn't want to get too close to my roots. But around the top of my head, it's not quite as bad and maybe 1/4-1/2" from the root. But from my occipital bone down, it's a disaster anywhere from 2-3" away. There are so many places that have no highlights at all, how is this a full highlight? That "explanation" or bizarre excuse didn't even make sense. In the 22 years I've gotten my hair highlighted, I've been to multiple hairdressers and never seen such a thing. I can't even wear my hair half up or away from my face because of how bad it is. At work last night, a customer even commented on it, giving me a "yikes" expression and suggesting another place that I should go to in the future from now on. After hearing a bunch of excuses and weird explanations, I was told it would be fixed. I went up to schedule and there's literally nothing that fits my schedule. Nothing soon, nothing weeks out, a month out.....I was told I could have another stylist fix it, but it would cost me. That's crazy. On top of that, I had a blunt trim (aka just a straight across the bottom cut, no sectioning, no layers) that took less than 2 minutes and was charged $55. Along with being charged an additional $15 for something I wasn't told I was being charged for when my hair was being washed. I mean, if you're charging someone for something you have to tell them first. Basically, I paid $175 (plus a $25 tip which I would've never given if I had looked through my hair but I was rushing to work, so, $200...) for hair that I'm embarrassed of, it looks awful, can't even style up due to sloppy highlights, and I just had to schedule with someone else to fix it, which means I'll be paying double the amount for what should've been a simple, straight forward highlight. I'm posting pics taken the day after to show, it's not a "style", it's just very poorly done. Needless to say, I'll never be back, and I should've been offered a refund. Unacceptable.

I have gone through years of getting nightmare haircuts and strongly despising getting my hair cut, but I recently tried Bombshells, specially requesting Bethany, and I cannot say enough good things!!! She had made me LOVE my hair during and after my appointment. I have thin fine hair, and it was so refreshing to find somebody that understands how to cut it without it looking like a hacksaw went through it. I went home LOVING my hair then woke up this morning still loving it (we all know the times we cry after cutting several inches off, and this was not the case this time).
If you need your hair cut and have thin/fine hair like me, I STRONGLY STRONGLY recommend Bethany and Bombshells. Thank you so much Bethany for a fantastic haircut. I will certainly be back to see you again!!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Rebecca P.Murfreesboro, TN713May 24, 2023
The first time I sent my daughter there she received a partial highlight for $75. Perfect. The second time she went (8 weeks later) the stylist she had previously seen was unavailable so the receptionist suggested a different one. My bill this time was $200. Unbelievable. We will never go back to Bombshells. Absolutely ridiculous. I do not spend that much money on my own hair let alone a teenage girl.

Got a haircut the other day at Bombshell but I promise if I had known how much it would be before I walked in I would have never walked in. I understand hair service is not cheap now a days but I would have never sat my butt in that chair had I know I was going to walk out paying $75 for a hair cut. A HAIR CUT! I'm not complaining about the service. The lady who cut my hair was super sweet, the shampoo was lovely, she took her time drying my hair but I was just very taken back by the price. I realize that their services brochure online says to ask about pricing before your services but I feel like that is tacky, and could make for an extremely uncomfortable situation. Especially if I had chosen to walk away. I feel like their pricing is a little on the step side.

Hunter is the best stylist I've ever had lay hands on my hair! He's brilliant with curly hair and has a great eye for color, and I've never felt like I needed to "grow into" any cut he has given me. I literally drive 4 hours to see him now that we live in different states, and I regret nothing!

I had an appointment booked for today (01/08/2021) at 2:15. They called me on Tuesday at 12:55pm to ask me if I could do Thursday instead. I told them no due to work schedule, so I confirmed that I had the appointment today. I get here and they tell me they can't find the appointment and the stylist I'm supposed to be booked with isn't even here. Ridiculous and poor customer service.
