Cupping, also called Myofascial Decompression, uses a vacuum approach for soft tissue manipulation for the purpose of releasing tension and adhesions, promote improved tissue health, circulation, and joint mobility. NOTE: There is no up-charge for this treatment, however, the hands-on duration is shorter than with other techniques to ensure proper treatment safety and hygiene measures.
Be aware that Cupping treatments likely leaves marks on the body that look similar to bruising and can appear severe over extended time.
Cupping is only occasionally practiced at our student clinic.
