• Michelle did an amazing job! I was in Lincoln for a wedding and decided it would be less stressful to have a pro do my hair. When I found Blown and reviewed their menu options, I saw that they also did make up, so I booked that, too. Michelle and I discussed what style I wanted, what I was wearing, etc. She was also very intuitive about my personal make up and hair preference style (no-fuss, super minimal everything) and did enough extra makeup for special occasion, but not so much that I was overwhelmed. I have hair that CANNOT hold a curl and doesn't have much volume, but that's what I wanted and Michelle delivered! My stylist friend (who did the bridal party's hair) kept complimenting it and my husband loved it. Hair and makeup stayed in place all night, a HUGE testament of Michelle's skill since the reception was outdoors, in June, on a humid day/night. Also, the entire ambiance of Blown is awesome. Great service, good music, really nice stylists who can carry a conversation like new friends, and in a really cool little spot. While I would definitely recommend this for special occasions, I think Blown should be seriously considered any time you feel like you need a pick me up. $40-ish to get pampered and feel like a bombshell walking out is well worth it!
