I was blown away by how amazing Michael was. I walked in to ask a question, I wanted to get a dry style so I asked if it could be done as I have a lot of curly hair. This is where I met Michael, who advised me not to do that because it would burn my hair. I was a little disappointed because I was having a crappy day shopping and figured, I'd lift my spirits with a blow out, but dry was all they had open. Michael said give him a minute he'd see what he could do. He said I'll have to wash you but I'll take you! I was elated, he did it which I am sure was his break. He was pleasant to talk to skilled in what he was doing. I will definitely be going back for many more blow outs with him. He also was able to do it quickly without inconveniecing his other client. I so recommend here if you need it for an occasion or just to lift your spirits. He made my day.

My sister told me about this place and I'm obsessed. I need this where I live in California. I could go here every week for a blow out. They wash and style for $40!

Visited this place last weekend for a wedding. Michael was my stylist and he was fantastic. He gave my hair amazing volume and curls. The salon is very cute and the staff are all very friendly. 10/10 service.

I was a little hesitant to book an appt after seeing some of the reviews but decided to give them a try, I was in town for an event and wanted awesome hair.
I booked online, received text and email confirmations, super easy.
Grace was my stylist, she did a great job!
The event was later in the day, she set my curls so they'd fall out naturally since I went in 6 hours prior to the event.
Would absolutely recommend!

I booked this place for 4 blow drys since we were going to Chicago for a family wedding and had no clue where to go. This was close to our hotel so we went there. This place is cute and staff was friendly. Shampoo was great and our blowouts were wonderful. The only irritating thing is that their mirrors are so high that you can only see the top of your forehead when sitting in their chairs. Id like to see what they are doing in case I want it done differently but was not able to. They need to really lower their mirrors but other than that, they did a great job.

meh.... updo epic fail....
Called several weeks ahead for an updo appointment for a wedding. I arrived on time... but had to wait about 20 minutes before they could take me. Was told it was due to high school homecoming and unexpected walk ins... High school Homecoming on Labor Day weekend?????? Unlikely! Also pre-arranged to have lashes applied but I was told they "ran out" of their lashes and didn't have anymore??? I had to call my husband to go to get lashes at a local store so that that they would then put on for me. They didn't charge me for the application fee of 10$.... which was great... but the lash set cost almost $25... !!!

As for the updo... when I left it looked beautiful. It was exactly what i was hoping it would be. Sadly....After about 90 minutes pieces of hair that weren't properly pinned already start to fall. All night It got worse. I had to constantly go to the bathroom and try and fix it. Not what I wanted to be doing after paying nearly 100$ for the service. If they weren't so rushed I believe they would have done a better job.

I called to make an appointment. After the lady picked up the phone and asked if I can hold, I said absolutely. The lady put the phone down and didn't put me on hold. I heard the staff just talk badly about their clients for about 10 mins. After that I just ended the call. It was completely unprofessional that they would put someone on hold just to complain about their clients. Not only that, they forgot I was still on hold.

Needs major updating. Feels like a 70s salon and hair balls in all of the corners. Staff mean mug you the entire time and always talk about being hungover. Always double booking. Had a horrible experience with an updo back in December. Bought the package where you get 2 blowouts a month. I was assured that they don't expire. Suddenly I was told that they did expire and "maybe I didn't get the email". I definitely didn't get the email. Now I'm out hundreds of dollars and blowouts. Very disappointed and will not be returning.

I came here on the day of my baby shower for a blow out. I came in with bangs and a middle part and I asked for her to round brush my hair and give it some volume. Not sure why the stylist took it upon herself to give me a dramatic side part and try to blow dry my bangs into that side part. She said she was done and I informed her that I have bangs & she was like oh whoops and then tried to blow dry them back out of that side part and they just looked like uneven random pieces of strings on my forehead. I paid $45 for something that I had to just go home and completely redo myself. Not saying this whole salon is bad but I am pretty sure this girl just got out of beauty school, as another stylish had to give her tips on how to use the curling iron. Very disappointing

I was helped by Riley, Michael and Grace and they are all amazing and very professional. I got hair and make up and it was done fantastically. You need getting ready for a wedding or an event, try this place. Also, Michael does know what hair style works best with cultural jewellery in your hair.
