Ok... Soooo how many times have you gone to a "beauty" place and the staff and owners were everything but beautiful ?!?! Comon...
Be honest!!

Well let me tell you this is most def not the case here.

Im not trying to drop my wife to get her hair done by some old lady that forgot she was 50 and borrows cloths from her grand kids to go to work!

Wrong hubby!! Lol..

My confidence in this place was on 10 after meeting the owner.. Quite possibly the hottest business owner in Miami.
But you didn't hear that from me.. ;-)

There was no question that we had come to the right place and my wife was going to look stunning for our date night when she left.

Friendly service.
Immaculate decor.
Overall clean, comfortable vibe and a great music playlist.

There was another looker there named limor.
She did some super cool flash tattoos on my wife to accent the dress she was wearing and they came out soooo cool.

Happy we tried this place..

Like I always say..
Happy wife happy life..
If the owner and staff are hot and have a good sense of style, chances are you will be happy.

That was absolutely the case here..


Bravo BLO midtown.. BRAVO!

Blo blew me away! Literally! I had a fantastic experience here and can't wait to come back.

I bought some certificates from Gilt City for a blowout here. I called on a Saturday morning, and they were able to fit me in later that day before heading out on a date that night. The girls were so sweet and very friendly from the second I walked in.

They use croc straighteners, which are AMAZING, and they sell them there too. The place is clean, the staff is friendly, the prices are reasonable (around $17 with my Gilt City certificate), and my hair looked fantastic.

I have another certificate, and I can't wait to come back!

It was a bit more expensive, but I was in a pinch on a Sunday afternoon. I got a 3 pm appt and Angelina rocked.
I started a new project at work the following day and wanted a blow out rather than curls. They made it happen and it took less than 2 hours. I usually go to Little Havana, but this worked out better. Paid for parking and they were waiting for me to start.

Had a great experience with Leslie! We communicated well and I left feeling beautiful! All my friends kept asking where I got my hair done. I will be back!

I have known Blo Dry Bar was coming to Midtown for a while before it actually opened. Sandi, the owner, has done an amazing job of rallying Miami girls through twitter to get them excited about their location, and it worked because I was very, very excited!

It finally opened recently and I got around to trying them out yesterday.

I walked in and was greeted with a smile, offered a drink and got to meet Sandi, who welcomed me to the salon and thanked me for coming in. I was tended to immediately by Jaiden and she asked what kind of blo dry I wanted. She washed my hair and got to it. The receptionist, I think her name is Nina, brought some magazines for me to read while I got my hair done.

My hair came out insanely good, despite it being so dry (a previous hairdresser ruined my once healthy hair with highlights). Jaiden made my hair have bounce and volume. I got compliments from everyone about how great it looked, including my fiance who kept saying that I looked gorgeous (awww). I walked out of there feeling beautiful and you can't beat that feeling. Never underestimate what a good hairstyle can do for your self esteem.

This salon has a fan and a loyal customer. I will definitely be stopping by again and again and again. And really, it is true what they advertise, it's wash, blo, and go. I was there for 30 mins tops and Jaiden did an amazing job!

A few other things of note:

- the location couldn't have been more perfect! I heart Midtown Miami like crazy! Everything surrounding the Blo Dry Bar is right up my alley - Target, The Cheese Course, West Elm, etc. Really, it's kinda exciting! You get your hair done, do a little shopping, and then grab a bite. Perfect day, I say!

- the salon is so cute! It's nice and spacious and decorated fabulously with hints of pink. Also, the music is great! I jammed. A lot.

- the girls in the salon are fabulous! Every single one of them had an amazing style and were friendly and super nice. I felt so welcomed and catered to. Other salons should take note.

- They sell Morrocan oil products. I went home with a conditioning mask after asking Jaiden advice on how to restore my hair. Also be advised that she never once pushed any products on me. It wasn't until I asked her that she mentioned it and I told her I would take it. I loved this! It's always so awkward to have products pushed on you, and not to mention, rude.

Overall my experience at Blo was great! Looking forward to the next one.

whoa, wait, what?! I haven't review my girls at Blo? Blasphemy! This is my go-to spot for all things fabu for my hair. My girl is Cassy, and she is a whiz at getting my hair ready for every special event I've been a part of in 2012-2013! But my favorite part of BLO isn't just Cassy, it's the fabulous Sandi ( or as many of us faithful know her "the mane muchacha")- owner and person who will tweet and instagram the styles and waves happening over at Blo. She has remembered me from my very first visit to BLO, and although I don't visit all the time. she never forgets and is always warm and welcoming!

My favorite thing to do is bringing in a few braid styles I've seen and having Cassy just go with it! Everytime she has donemy hair I get raves and I'm always happy to see the surprise on people's faces when I say "Blo did it!". So much more than a dry bar :)

I know that no matter the weather, Blo's got my back. Every girl needs her stylist. My hair belongs to Blo.

I cannot rave enough about all of my experiences at Blo. The stylists always have done a spot on blow dry. The enjoyment begins when booking my appointments online - so easy! Upon arriving at the salon I rarely have to wait longer than 2-3 minutes. The stylists thoroughly wash & condition your hair and then you are ready for your blow dry. The entire appointment typically 45 minutes and they offer beverages to their guests. The line of hair products called UNITE is the best! It smells great and doesn't make your scalp itchy or flaky, very gentle for the hair. If there were more stars to give, I would rate Blo bar higher!

Blo Midtown is the only salon I know I can go to where every stylist there is a great one! I don't know what kind of ninja blow dryer/straight iron training program they go through to work there, but all the ladies can straighten your hair blindfolded and standing on one leg! Seriously, they make it look SO EASY!

They are also fast too. You can be in and out of there in about an hour but why rush?! Chat with owners Sandi & Kailey, they are sisters and sweethearts, not to mention they always look flawless and dressed fabulously... This is a great place to go if you want to have some Me time or for a ladies day out. They also do some magnificent events if you are lucky enough to get invited!

The salon uses an awesome line called Unite. This is definitely the good stuff ladies! They also use these pink flat irons that are amazing for super curly hair like mine. I would buy one but then what would be the fun in doing my hair myself?!

Best blow out and styles, love this place. They are always on point and the staff is always friendly :)

Perfect for the busy lady on the go!

For someone who sucks at knowing what to do with their hair, Blo is a godsend. I've watched tons of YouTube videos at home trying to figure out how to make a decent braid, or how to do anything remotely interesting, only to go out with some amateur looking ponytail and an hour late to wherever I was going.

Enter Blo.

For about $35, you can walk out with your hair nicely blow-dried with plenty of volume, or you can get a simple up-do. For a big night out or a special occasion, it's totally worth it.

And as a bonus, both times I've come here for an up-do, or to get some big, bouncy curls, my hair lasted a good three days - definitely got a lot of miles out of my visits here.

You can also make appointments online - perfect for those with a phone phobia (I got you, guys).
