At first I thought membership was unneeded, yet it saves money. Braids and all the latest instagram styles are practiced. Style experts work here. Congrats to CEO Tina and her bundle of joy. So proud of you Tina, another future female CEO (little) is born. New light is appreciated.

When you frequent the same businesses/professionals for many years that in itself is telling---yet always good to try new things. Up do's and dazzling event hair for prom, weddings and galas created here. Natalie is amazing and I am told Tina will resurface soon. Grateful.

Everything was great; service, atmosphere, cleanliness...except how my hair turned out to be styled which is the most important part!

Called and was able to get an appointment same day on a Thursday evening. The stylist was on time and I was offered champagne which was great! I asked for 'beach babe' but just got my hair straightened with a curl at the bottom. I feel like I wasted my time and money. I curled my hair again at home :/

Yet another update! I visited Blew for a few more appointments and had Sonia, who knocked it out of the park. She was kind, courteous, and really talented. I tend to trust stylists' opinions on what's best, because I'm somewhat clueless about what would look best. I showed her a few pictures and she brought it all to life. Before leaving that appointment, I booked her a month out for another one, because she was so great. My hair is long and frizzes easily, so it definitely needed some extra help. Cheers to Sonia!

Originally, I found this location through a quick search on Yelp. It wasn't my first presence as there is another dry bar much closer to my house. I was in a pinch to get an appointment same day and it just happened to be the weekend before Halloween. I definitely could have planned better since it was for an event, but it was honestly the last thing on my mind.

The dry bar I originally wanted didn't open until 10 am and they didn't have an online appointment scheduling system. I waited to make an appointment at Blew until I could confirm whether or not the other place could take me. Of course the other place was booked solid for the day.

I made an appointment online through the website and it was a breeze. I was able to see what time slots were still available for the day and service I selected. When I arrived, parking was a tad troublesome because it's a fairly busy center. I was seated promptly after checking in and Sonia was my stylist for the appointment.

We talked general hair care, my comfort preferences, the event I was going to, and she even recommended a style for me based on the event. I was leaning more towards the beachy style, but ended up being pleasantly surprised with the classic.

Sonia started off by asking the water temp preference, how much product I normally use, and if her scalp massage was too light or hard. I really appreciated the attention to detail she took when creating a pleasant experience for me. I mentioned the event start time and how my hair typically responds to curls. Sonia adjusted her plan perfectly and I had beautiful loose curls by the time my event came around a few hours later.

Thank you for making what would have been a stressful time for me to do on my own a relaxing and stress-free experience in the salon. Definitely coming back!

My 14 year-old daughter & I always come here when before a party or event so that our hair matches the occasion. My daughter is half-black and has a ton of curly hair and yet they charge the same and she leaves with big curls as though her hair were straight. She loves that she leaves here with an entirely different look than her everyday hair.

As for me, I come here before events, parties, nights out, and important days at work because having good hair always adds a boost of confidence. Ask for April, Laura, or Melissa.

Love this place and worth the drive from Santa Ana!! I know there are closer places, but the chill vibe and good customer service makes it worthwhile.

I was so excited to get my hair done here and I felt like the experience just left me feeling uncomfortable. We were celebrating our friend's 30th Birthday and wanted to get our hair done together to relax and save time from doing it ourselves. Everyone was so friendly when we arrived and we were given mimosas. My friend was seated before me and about 10 minutes later it was my turn. I saw the hair on the person my stylist did before me and it looked gorgeous. I told her I want something like that, but warned her my hair doesn't hold curls. My hair is thin and she would have to make them tight to hold. My mom works at Drybar so she knows my hair is hard to work with, but she's been able to make it last as long as she does tight curls.

We walked over to the wash bowl and I asked her if she can get in there and give my hair a good scrub. She said they always double wash. I hardly felt her fingers and felt the wash wasn't that great. I also felt like my wash was rushed because my friend was seated before me and she was still getting a wash while my blow dry was starting. My stylist was nice, but didn't really talk and was kind of cold towards me. I don't know if me mentioning my mom works at another blow out bar made her uneasy, but I got a weird vibe.

I was given a refill on my drink and just tried relaxing. My hair was alright, but I wish the curls were tighter because I knew this was not going to last. It also sucks because I was done 15-20 mins before my friends and my hair already went flat. Since I had to wait for them to finish, I asked if I could have another drink and they said 2 is the limit. When we called to make the reservation they told my friend the drinks were unlimited, one of the reasons we were excited to come here. She said they don't want people to drive drunk so they limit it to 2, I totally understand that. I wasn't driving that day, but I get it. I asked if I could have a diet coke instead and was told "We don't have diet coke, but you can walk to the liquor store down the street." I was shocked to hear that. If you don't have it I get it, but there are better ways to word it like "We don't have that, but can I offer you a water instead?" not go walk down the street to the liquor store...
Anyways, I felt weird and my hair had gone flat and my friends urged me to ask another stylist to do a touch up. She made them tight and sprayed each section and that held for a lot longer thankfully, so I didn't feel like I completely wasted my $40 + $10 tip. This was my experience and I know my friend had a bad experience with the front desk staff when paying for her service and we just all left feeling uncomfortable and didn't get the service and results we wanted.

I am really impressed with this blow dry bar. My hair turned out amazing. My stylist said she'd been there for years--which surprised me, but explains why my hair turned out super light, bouncy, and beautiful like it had. Pricing is competitive and these girls know what they're doing so I'll definitely be back. Wish they had a closer location!

Got my very first blowout a week ago and I loved it! I don't remember my stylist name (eeeks bad at remembering names ) she was super sweet and took care of me :) I got a "bombshell" blow out and I loved how it came out. I will be going back when I'm in the are again!

This place is really cute & affordable. My stylist Eileen was very nice! I feel like my curls fell out fast, but I knew I should have stuck with the "bombshell" style and not the beach waves. The bombshell would have turned into the beach waves!

Anyways, the salon is very cute and super cute. I was offered drinks bit turned them down. The hair wash was the best. Next time I'll try a braid add on!
