I'm a deep tissue massage snob, get one every 4 weeks and am not easily pleased. This review is for the life changing 60-minute deep tissue massage I received from Cheryl. I booked 24 hours in advance and I'm so glad I got to see Cheryl for the first time. I hurt my back by lifting some heavy boxes during my move and she did so much amazing work on various parts causing the back pain including abs which no one ever did. She explained everything she was working on, always checked to see if I'm comfortable before beginning on an area and made me feel comfortable openly communicating with her. If you are looking for a massage, look no further - book with Cheryl!
Also, their front desk and waiting area is very relaxing and they also cover your parking if you park in the attached St Anthony Main garage. The tunnel connection is very handy during snow season!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Harshada S.Minneapolis, MN207575Aug 25, 2018
My BF gifted me this massage to get rid of my temper. I won't say it worked on temper but hey it did work on my shoulder pain. Natalie gave me 60mins full body massage and it was freaking awesome!
Natalie asked me if I had any targeted areas where I need more massage or need it relaxed a bit and she worked her magic! Honestly am not a fan of massage much but my BF is. Am so happy that he gifted me this massage. It was definitely worth it!
I loved it so much that I booked another massage for next month already.

Dr. Andy Stella has been amazing in helping my decades-long back and shoulder issues with Matrix Repatterning Technique (MRT). I swear I can't explain it (watch his videos!) - more than facia, more than energy work - I don't know. I have had two concussions and have been in two car accidents - all about 20-25 years ago.
I said my right shoulder was painfully pulling forward (neither massage or chiropractor could fix after several sessions each). Dr. Andy goes to my left pelvis, lightly adjusts, lightly touches some organ - then my right shoulder releases.
The work continues and I see real progress. My husband is thrilled with the results he is seeing in me. This is worth the investment if Dr. Stella determines you are a good candidate. Doesn't take insurance but HSA works if you have it.
Thank you Dr. Andy!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Elga T.Minneapolis, MN15119916Jun 7, 2016
The funny thing is that someone recommended this place to me nearly three years ago, when I first moved from Los Angeles to Minneapolis, and I forgot about it until I saw a Groupon for a three massage special. This is my new go to place. Both Melissa and Trista are intuitive healers with amazing hand strength!
If you are looking for someone to release muscle tension and help your body return to a normal state, you should definitely try this place. I only regret not having come here years ago.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Genevieve R.West Maka Ska, Minneapolis, MN01Feb 17, 2021
I had a package of massages purchased before COVID.. it seems they just closed down and didn't contact anyone. I understand the difficult time for businesses of this type during the pandemic but it is very unprofessional to just keep someone's money for services not used and disappear.

Great experience every time! Friendly staff and really good massage and chiropractic.
I highly recommend the matrix repatterining therapy of Dr. Andy Stella for swift and permanent healing from injuries and accidents, especially concussions and other lingering sports related injuries.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jul 27, 2016
I had a full body massage with Natalie and I have never experienced such intense relaxation. She also identified problem areas of my body that I hadn't told her about prior, and I hope to make monthly visits for treatments in those areas. I can't recommend her for full body massage more.

I have been a client at Benessere for a number of years. I have always been impressed by the courteous service and excellent, knowledgeable practitioners. Lately, I have frequented the office of David Mancini for horrible headaches thanks to a long summer of DIY home projects/neck abuse. For a week straight I was waking up with a pounding tension headache that was relentless. There wasn't enough ibuprofen in the world to get rid of it. Frustrated by the chronic pain, I called Benessere and got in to see David ASAP. David assessed my situation and began treating the tension and swelling in my neck that was causing headaches.
After almost two weeks of frequent treatment (2-3x per week), my headaches were gone! David also provided me with helpful stretching suggestions between treatments to help relieve tension. I have continued to see David on a less frequent basis to ensure that my horrible neck issues don't return. I am hoping to transition to his MedX rehab program to strengthen my neck against future injury. Let's be honest, I probably won't be able to stop abusing my neck until our new house is completely renovated.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Sarah G.Minneapolis, MN264176Oct 5, 2012
I have been a patient of Dr. Mancini for just a few weeks now, and I am not sure how I made it through the past four years without him! As the 22 year-old daughter of two traditional doctors, I was skeptical of chiropractics. I thought there was some degree of hocus pocus to it all, and I was nervous but getting desperate. Every chiropractor I have met has been some outrageous flavor of crazy, like the one next door to my office who is like a used car salesman in every way possible. Thanks, but no thanks, doc.
I found Benessere and Dr. Mancini on Yelp and decided to give it a shot. For the last four years, aka my entire adult life, I have had chronic neck and low back pain and sporadic debilitating low back spasms. All I wanted was to feel my age. After numerous trips to physicians, urgent care and even the ER for my back, no one was working with me to solve the problem. Doctors would throw some pain meds in my lap, tell me to stretch before and after exercising, and send me limping out the door to get on to the next patient. I trusted them, as experts, and just soldiered on until the next flare-up that would keep me bedridden for four days. Repeat.
Until Dr. Mancini, no one listened to me. No one asked me relevant questions, no one honored my multiple requests for x-rays. No one thought that someone my age could possibly have chronic neck and back pain without a specific severe injury. At my first visit, Dr. Mancini asked me all of the right questions. Better yet? He listened to my responses. We did range of motion tests, and he asked very specific questions about the pain and other sensations I was experiencing in my neck, back and legs. He told me what he thought was going on, and we began treatment for acute spinal injury in my lower back.
After a couple treatments (each one better than the last) he referred me to an imaging center for a full spine x-ray. He was right on the money with his diagnosis, but the x-ray additionally showed scoliosis and a reverse curve in my neck (ow.) That explains a lot.
After being doubted for so long by other healthcare professionals, I just about cried (tears of joy!) at the validation of my suspicions. My intuition was right. Something was wrong, and Dr. Mancini got to the core of the problem within the first visit or two. I am blown away by his accuracy, his professionalism and his calm and hopeful demeanor. I've started an intense rehabilitation type program with him and after just a couple weeks, I'm noticing major progress. This guy is good, ladies and gentlemen. I highly recommend his work.
Side note: the entire office staff are just a joy. Fun, friendly and great at what they do!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Anna K.Minneapolis, MN536Dec 20, 2016Purchased a Yelp Deal
A month ago or so I started experiencing significant lower back pain. I waited awhile, thinking it would go away, but it didn't....it was to the point that I couldn't go to the gym, and I had a dull pain throughout the day (especially in the morning). This was my first experience with massage therapy, so I had no idea what to expect.
I met with Carolyn, and it was a great experience! I can't believe how fast the hour went by. I was still sore afterwards, but over the next few days, my back has been SO much better! She gave me some stretches to do to help with that particular area too, which I really appreciate.
It's a really cute place, in a cool area, parking is validated, and everything was super comfortable. Will definitely be backHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
