First time here ! Amazing service by Sophia she did an amazing job on my nails , however whoever did my pedicure did not do the best job as she kept asking questions on what to do she looked a bit confused. Also a bit pricey spent about $180 on gel mani and pedi as well as acrylic removal tip included. But i will be going back every 3 weeks to see sophia !! She's a real asset to this business. If it wasn't for her i would not be returning !!

I came here two times before my most recent visit for gel manicures. I wasn't fully satisfied, but didn't leave them a review. I decided to give them another chance since I wanted to try their pedicure service.

My conclusion is I'm not coming back to this place and I'm not recommending this place to anyone due to many reasons. Their services are way overpriced, the services are mediocre, and the services were dissatisfactory for the price.

I have never been given a price menu at the start of services there, each of my 3 visits.

The gel manicure's starting price was $55. I said shorter and the same shape, but Sarah cut shorter than I wanted. I should have just said, "Just file". But, I trusted her to cut one nail a bit shorter, file, and then ask me. If I wanted my nails to be shorter, she could then file more. She let me down by clipping my nails short immediately. It's not a huge deal, but it's worth mentioning.

She used a nail tool to scrape my gel off rather than use a tool to file most of it off, the scraping left scratches on my nails which meant her method of removing my gel polish damaged my nails. It was not professional of her because she did not take the time to properly remove the gel from the nail bed with care using a nail drill for the sake of my nail health.

The massage Sarah gave my arms hurt a little too, and it came out of nowhere without my permission. It was awkward for me. The pedicure massage on my legs wasn't done with enough pressure and I was never asked if I wanted more pressure or less pressure.

The shaping of my manicure was also not satisfactory as it was not done with symmetry in mind; I ended up asking for the nail file to take care of it myself because I know how to file my nails. I'm simply paying a nail technician to do it for me as the service is supposed to be a relaxing gift to myself.

But, if a nail tech doesn't do a good job, I'm not happy because I'm paying money. In this case, this place is overpriced too.

With the way Sarah talked about colors, it made me uncomfortable because I knew the colors I wanted, I was clear about what I wanted, but she gave her opinion multiple times including telling me I shouldn't do one color when I asked for it specifically. I didn't ask for her opinions, bottom line.

Sarah did not paint my nails well because she didn't fully paint the sides of my nails and I asked her to redo one nail as it was noticeable. There were other ones too, but I didn't ask her to do them because I knew she wouldn't be happy with redoing the other nails' sides as she was silent when she came back to redo one nail from beginning to end.

The gel pedicure's starting price was $65.
I expressed out loud (Both of my nail technicians heard me) in the beginning that I wanted square round for the shape of my toenails, my pedicure nail technician just cut them short immediately without asking me how short I wanted them to be, and she didn't give me a square round shape. My toenails were all really short, without the minimum nail length to file for a square-round shape.

The pedicure was uncomfortable too because my feet were placed on a moving pedicure chair (They don't have any massage chairs)

The pedicure technicians sit on a pedicure chair and it moves from time to time, so it's not always stable and because of that, I did not fully relax my legs and feet.

I was asked if I wanted a callus removal, but when the nail technician asked, she did not let me know that it would be an extra cost. I had a feeling it was extra, so I declined it.

I also brought my gloves, but Sarah told me that I didn't have to wear them due to them having LED machines versus UV. But, the light used for my gel pedicure was UV 100%. It said UV on the machine.

The lamp for my right hand was LED, which was good. But, the lamp used for my left hand... I think it was UV, and I don't think Sarah was being honest about that nail lamp when I asked her after observing it wasn't the same as the other one.

She may have been honest, but the light for my toes definitely had UV light. It was not professional of her to not tell the other nail technician to give me an LED light after knowing I cared.

CBD pedicure was $75 + $15 extra for callus removal. $90 for a CBD pedicure without gel or any color for my partner. Callus removal should be included in the $90 price of a pedicure.

Their online booking system is also not 100% accurate and was giving me issues with their appointment times for 3 services even though I tried refreshing and closing the browser. I tried at least a few times, and it still did not work.

I called, 4:00 was given, but the online system didn't offer 4:00.

The total amount spent on one visit for three services, one manicure, and two pedicures was $210. It was certainly not worth it. I do not recommend this nail salon. I suggest that you get your nails done elsewhere, for better services and better prices.

The team at Bellacures El Segundo is amazing! They always make it feel like home when I'm here and they've become like family. Everyone is so warm and welcoming and they do such a wonderful job. Sarah, Myra, Nancy, Jessica, and the rest of the team are so amazing! I love their Power Polish manicures and pedicures as the polish lasts longer than regular polish (kind of like gel - but doesn't take forever to get off like gel). They also have great scrubs and paraffin treatments. It's super clean and you get an individual pedicure tub with a liner and a manicure bowl. Bellacures El Segundo is my go-to nail salon and I drive out of my way to get here every time because it's always a wonderful experience. I highly recommend them!

Nancy did a great job and my power polish lasted over a week (and honestly could've gone longer if I wasn't bothered by grow out).

Don't go here. I waited over 45 minutes past my appointment time. I was given 25% off my manicure, but I expect better service. My time is more valuable than the $7 discount.
In addition the manicure with performance polish was done terribly. It is full of bubbles, uneven edges, and polish on my cuticles. Bellacures charges a premium, and with that I would expect better than average service. The wait coupled with poor workmanship is just unacceptable. It's also not very clean, with scuffed furniture, stains on chairs and a dirty door. The people working were very friendly, but that's the only good thing about this experience.

** update august 6, 2023. I thought I would give them another chance. Still terrible. See photo below. I just got this manicure 10 min ago and my cuticles look way worse than going in. Don't go here.**

I really wanted to love this place because it is a convenient location.

My second time here requested Sara

My first time with Sara was great and I requested her again a month later.

Sara was not nice at all this time. Came in for my birthday to treat myself to a pedicure.

I let her know and she didn't wish my a happy birthday she was coughing entire session and was rushing even though it was empty.

I chose between white or pink polish

I asked her what she recommended and she with a sour attitude said I can't make the decision.

      I chose white

She didn't shake the polish and applied it with lots of streaks and empty space. She said wait 5 minutes and I will help you put shoes.

She rushed off to go hang out with someone having an interview.

When she returned I asked her if she could do another coat on my toes as they were streaky she had MAJOR ATTITUDE.

she stormed off to get the polish and she removed the polish aggressively.

I said are you having a bad day? I said last time I came to you , you were nice? She said I don't remember you.

She started to re paint and she acknowledged the polish wasn't applying smoothly and said would you like the pink!?

I said ok! Again she didn't shake the polish she applying very thick and not taking her time. I could see it thick and I said NOTHING.

5 minutes later she comes back to put my sandal and I wasn't watching her just letting her do her thing and she scraped my big toe and thick gooey polish smears. BOY WAS SHE MAD!

she said next time don't move and Blames me.

I said I didn't move and I let you do it.

At this point I'm so upset and over the entire experience.

How was my service ? Awful!

The location deserves 5 stars it's beautiful.

Sara oh the other hand needs a attitude adjustment and needs to be more gentle and kind to customers.

I called 3 times yesterday to speak to the manager NORMA

she never responded to my calls didn't call me back like I was told she would so here I am posting my experience.

I went home and removed the polish and did my own nails for my birthday.

I went last week during a work trip and had the worst pedicure of my life. I asked for treatment, and the person who did my pedicure told me I didn't need it because I didn't have calluses. She didn't massage my feet and didn't scrub my feet with anything, and I sat and watched everyone else enjoy themselves. I had paid extra for a quick-drying polish that she told me was dry, and when I got back to the hotel, I saw my pedicure was ruined because it wasn't dry. I do not recommend it.

I decided to walk in when they first opened for a lymphatic pedicure.

The receptionist was welcoming and seated me promptly with Stacy. Stacy was amazing. She was very attentive to my instructions, and gentle with the massage. The water was also a perfect temperature for soaking.

Granted it was pretty early in the morning still, it wasn't too busy at all so the environment was peaceful and relaxing.

I went in for nail removal done at a different nail salon and the technician filed my nails so thin that one of my nails split in the middle and it hurts. She did a horrible job and will not recommend if you need acrylic removal. Let the pictures speak for themselves. My skin so dry from the acetone

My mail thinned out too much.

Marginal experience. Went with my daughters and two of us had a poor experience. (One had an "ok" pedicure.) My daughter's tech whipped through the pedicure so quickly (minimal attention to anything and virtually no massage) that she was done before me -- and my pedicure had started first AND I had no polish applied. And the upsell is ridiculous! I've never had so many suggested additional services (at a cost, of course) than at this place. Pass on this place.
