Beauty by Dolly

This is the only place I trust to get threaded and waxes done in SD now.

Adriana does an AMAZING job waxing. I literally will not go to anyone else lol. She is precise, and will thread the stray hairs that didn't get waxed. She's also very warm, welcoming and has great customer service.

Faranak does a great job threading, and she is such a sweetheart.

Sara is very precise at threading, and will remove all the hair.

I love how when Dolly is there, she converses with all her customers and makes you feel like you've known her for a while.

Overall a very inviting atmosphere. 10/10

I used to always go to the Carmel mountain location but honestly love this location best after finding Sara
She is amazing and was on point with my eyebrows! Carmel mountain browist was always wishy washy on my eyebrows and there was no consistency!
So glad I found Sara! She is amazing!!!!

Heard great things about Beauty by Dolly so I decided to check them out. I decided to get the eyebrow lamination and tint combo and also did some threading.

They have threading chairs out front and rooms where you can get other services done.

Pros:
-free parking in front (shared with other businesses)
-easy online reservation system
-clean interior
-friendly staff that make you feel comfortable

Cons:
-n/a

Overall, glad I got to try them out. I will be back!

It was my first time getting my brows threaded, and I loved how they turned out! The staff here were super sweet. Lots of parking and no wait when I went on the weekend around noon.

I come out here to the beauty shop across the street every and I live over an hour away. I decided I would get my brows done before my appointments and paid for a package of brow threading. I went in my second time today and they could not find me by my phone number in the system. I dont have time for someone entering it wrong and Im not gonna stand around while someone that walks in after me get done first because you cant find my number. VERY DISAPPOINTED! What a waste of time and money not to mention embarrassment. You mean to tell me theres no other way to find me

Love these friendly and helpful team members at Beauty by Dolly! Sabira was super helpful in suggesting services and products...I ended up adding lips and buying the brow powder The Brow Tab is a fabulous deal...buy five and get one free.

Eyebrows galore for both men and women! The customer service here is why I always come back. Everyone is nice, welcoming, and they all work pretty quick. Even with their quick skills, the ladies still manage to talk to you and seek your opinion on how you want things done. I never have an appointment because my schedule is up in the air, but they always are so accommodating. They have grown so much to 3 to 4 new locations all in the SD area. I have been coming here for years and always leave pleased with the outcome. I have a weird shape and they always seek each others opinions for guidance and recommendations. Team work here makes the dream work and I benefit haha. I will definitely be going back soon since I am overdue for a touch up. Keep up the good work everyone!

Second time that I come here and I always loose more eyebrows than I want. Very disappointed that they always overthread my eyebrows which are already not very thick. This time I've been growing them out so I let them know I was growing them out and wanted to keep the shape I had filled them in like. She still made that one eyebrow way too thin. I let her know and the other eyebrow was much better.

I think IF I return which I may not to this location would be to watch the threading more closely. I speak up tho and I am sure there are many who don't. She told me that I am missing hair and I told her yes I have bald spots which is why I am growing them out and not wanting to take more off.

Now, I will say that what I LOVED was:
The best part was the sweet and professional girl at the front desk. I would try to spell her name but not sure I can spell it but it starts with a V. She was on top of the phones and appointments during a very busy time. She was warm and greeted everyone kindly even those who tried to come in after the store was closed instead of turning them away she greeted them and welcomed them to during open hours. She was attentive and heard me telling the girl who did my eyebrow threading that it was thinner than I wanted and asked me if it was more hair taken off than I wanted. Her customer service was outstanding.
Yes the first eyebrow had way too much hair taken out than I wanted and I was very disappointed, but the service was amazing and I respect that a lot.
