Beautified Skin & Wax

I just got my first post-vax wax and this place is awesome. They used a numbing spray which was greatly appreciated. The wax itself is really high quality. I will definitely return.

The wax here was not effective. It left a majority of hairs.

In addition, the wax caused my skin to break out in horrible red bumps.

I feel bad for having to write this, but I have a lifetime of experience waxing myself. I have never had such issues when I do it myself. I find it appalling that people could charge so much for such a joke of a service.

I met with Erica tonight to have my brows done. As I explained to her I hadn't touched my brows in at least a year and I had no shape. She went to work and less than 25 minutes, my brows looked the best they had ever looked before. I can't thank you enough for your services. $25 was so much less than everyone else I had contacted and was told no appointments were available for at least a week. I scheduled my 6:30 pm appointment that same day at 3:20 pm. WOW - GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! WILL CONTINUE TO COME BACK EVERY FEW MONTHS!!

Was thrilled when my friend recommended I try beautified. Jill is absolutely amazing and a master for brow shaping. Her bikini wax is key because it doesn't hurt at all :-) easy to book appointments online and they're very timely about sticking to Designated appointment time. We all spend so much time on beauty treatments that it's nice to know you'll be in and out and looking fabulous in no time at all! I highly recommend the spot in the pole culture area for any beauty needs ! Who doesn't want to look "beautified" ?!

I have said it before but I MUST say it again - Beautified is hands-down the best salon I have been to in SF. I am beyond sad to leave them when I leave the city.

I recently had my lashes done by Corrie and it was well worth it! The attention to detail, combined with her gentle demeanor made the whole experience wonderful. I wish I had a photo of my before and after but she did an amazing job enhance my natural lashes and making the lashes stay - which is a huge plus for the service.

Erika and Maria are absolutely amazing and professional! Both are meticulous in what they do and are my go to girls for waxes. I couldn't recommend them more!

Jill is the absolute best and sweetest person! I just had my first wax with her and she made the experience as painless and not awkward as possible. My sister has been going to her for years and has loved her. She offers wine or water if you need to relax. They also have a ton of other services, like facials or eyelash extensions that I would definitely come back to try.

The best facial ever! Jill really knows her stuff and genuinely cares about improving your skin. Not to mention the amazing massage , so relaxing!!

I had an amazing experience with Jill! She made the process of getting a Brazilian (something somewhat painful) as relaxing and comfortable as can be. Plus she's really funny! I also loved the vibe of the studio. Will be back in 6 weeks!

Great experience from start to finish!

Jill, the owner/sole beautician, was very pleasant. She kept me distracted from the pain by maintaining a good conversation throughout the entire procedure & made me feel very comfortable from the get-go. Jill was very genuine, I made me feel like I was talking to a friend.

Jill treated me to red wine prior to beginning & instructed me to spray the region with a numbing spray (which pleasantly smelled like Vanilla). She also used aromatic soothing oil on me after the procedure.

Setting is important! The room was nicely decorated with dandelion decals and colorful pillows, providing an overall minimalist clean cozy environment. Soft music was playing in the background, my wine kicking in, & the waxing was over before I knew it.

The service is on the pricier side, but it seems like Jill often offers great deals via livingsocial, etc. & you definitely get excellent treatment for your buck.
