Got a lash tint, brow tint, and lamination with Frankie. Go in knowing they can only do dark shades. I'm very blonde and wanted to go one shade darker (dark blonde) and I left purple. I explained in detail what I wanted and what I didn't want, and it turned out even worse than what I didn't want. The tint was also incomplete and left me with half dark, half blonde hairs. I left looking like a monster.

Thank you for your feedback and I wanted to take the time to clarify a few things. After seeing how upset you were by your brows, Frankie tried to resolve it for you on the day of your service. She did her best to remove the tint to the best of her ability, hence the uneven tinting, and the unruly brows. I also reached out to you over the phone personally to try to resolve this issue. As per our phone conversation, we were expecting to hear back from you to strip the color from your brows but didn't hear from you. While this isn't a service we normally offer, we were willing to do this for you to help you achieve the brows you were expecting. I'm sad we weren't given the opportunity to make this right for you before taking your feedback to Yelp. The first time I had the lamination done, it was a bit too fluffy for my taste so I went back and Frankie perfected them to my liking. My friend likes them a bit more fluffy than mine so this service can be adjusted to your preferences.

Thanks for sharing!Aug 19, 2021Previous reviewI was hesitant to book a lash lift appointment here because I couldn't find any reviews on lash lifts specifically but I am SO glad I did!! This is the second lash lift I've ever done and the results I got today blew me away. I got the first lash lift 7 weeks ago and the results were not nearly as drastic. Additionally, the price of the lash lift was quite affordable by SF standards.
Frankie did my lashes today and not only did she do a good job, but she's so fun to talk to! I highly recommend her for lash lifts. After this experience, I am officially a regular of Frankie's and she will be the only one to do my lash lifts moving forward.
Emma rang me up at the end of my service and she was so kind, Bare Beauty Lounge is full of positive energy and I love it. I can't wait to try out their other services!!- Feb 28, 2020
Bare is a nice spa and women's care studio mostly for women to get waxing and facials. It was on Classpass this time, and that's genius. I could get a brow wax for 10 ClassPass points..you know instead of yoga...they do have a check-in offer with a $5 coupon.
It's a well-kept studio in the Marina and the staff is super nice and the service is good. The eyebrow wax took 15 minutes or so. It went by fast and I hadn't had a good eyebrow wax in a very long time..maybe almost a decade..It was on Classpass and so now if you examine that model of business..If you put a chunk of money on a credit system..and you get businesses to use CREDITS to get people to use a service..it works out wonderfully..and it's not just for women using Classpass.com. This is a new business model for today using credits and websites..and you can pay it forward with a Yelp review. Scratching backs and so forth.

Everyone is super friendly and sweet and maybe the other services are better.

Had the MOST PAINFUL Brazilian wax experience here. No instructions to exhale or inhale or any sort of cooling cloth before / after. Was let go with wax on my skin and then they asked for a tip lol.

Chelsea did the most incredible wax I've ever had. Chelsea was incredibly fast and efficient with time and especially wax placement- there wasn't a drop of wax left on me when I was done. Amazing.
Chelsea did all of this amazing work all the while balancing the lounge reception solo.
I was nervous thinking about the pain of getting waxed but Chelsea immmmmediately made me feel at ease just by her presence alone.
And- lemme tell you, every hair is gone and I felt the least amount of pain from a Brazilian wax. Ever.

My provider for both was Emma, and she was fantastic! Super professional, cool girl, made me very comfortable, and wasn't too pushy with facial products or anything which I've experienced elsewhere in the past. A few days later my skin looked the healthiest it's ever looked; it was truly glowing.

Elena K.San Francisco, CA518Sep 16, 2022I had a really unfortunate experience here. I have very full brows and came in for a Brow Wax. I asked to just get them cleaned up and to maintain the shape. Instead the esthetician took off about half of my brows and completely reshaped them. I went from full brows that I loved to very thin brows in an flattering shape. She also rewaxed the same sections which really irritated my skin and is a big no no with wax (I'm surprised I didn't bleed). Avoid if you like a full brow look.
