The quality of the teaching and the convenience of having the classes on zoom make studying with teachers from IYILA a wonderful experience.

Technology works and is easy to use. Instructor is top notch…with all the corrections and adaptations as though we are all in person.

Chigusa is an exceptional yoga teacher. She is the only current Iyengar teacher I have had experience with. Because the question was framed of recommending the Institute generally, rather than Chigusa in particular, I gave a 9 rating.

The teachers at IYILA are excellent. All of them have deepened my understanding of Iyengar Yoga, even in those classes when I felt pain, confusion and frustration.

I have been taking classes from the institute since the pandemic. I have found the instructors skilled and informed. My practice has really improved and I have gained a great deal of confidence in moving to a more independent practice.
